Easy Buckwheat Pancakes/ Vegan / No Oil

Easy Buckwheat Pancakes that are vegan and made with no oil? Yes it is true. Buckwheat is one of my favorite grains. If you are gluten free you will love buckwheat. Buckwheat has such a unique and nutty flavor and pairs so well with maple syrup. These buckwheat pancakes are so easy and so delicious! I hope you enjoy this video and sorry for the excessive use of the word "delicious."
Here is what you will need:
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp vanilla powder or vanilla extract
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup unsweetened plant milk
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 T unsweetened applesauce
1-2 T maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
whisk together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
In another bowl add the wet ingredients and whisk together
Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk till smooth.
On a preheated griddle or pan pour batter using a 1/4 measuring cup.
Cook the pancakes 2 minutes on one side then flip and cook for another 30 seconds.
Serve with fruit and maple syrup. Enjoy!

I've never tried Buckwheat. Could you use Almond Milk? I like the replacement of applesauce for oil. Looks good. Thanks for sharing. I love your simple recipes.

That sounds about right. Depending on the size of course. If they are small I can eat 4. I don't worry about serving sizes, I eat until I am comfortably full and then that is my serving size.💚
