I use bondo then sand and paint my wheel black from paint I bought from “Eastwood”. Eastwood makes a semi gloss paint designed for painting my 19 inch model 3 wheel that use to be silver. Over time I think this looks better and it’s really cheap.

It was tested in pressure car wash and withstood the pressure. Regarding tires just take them off before tire change.

No, what you need are better wheel covers, that cover your entire rims. Get rid of the Aeros and get some Rimetrix or other aftermarket wheel covers.

Great product but WAY too expensive by 2X. This should come in a box for 4 wheels plus extra pieces for around $150. This is of interest AFTER you’ve curbed your first wheel and be realize it will cost $75-$100 to repair. For a little more money you realize you can fix the bad wheel and protect the others for not much more money than repairing just one wheel.

Just bought these. Install on the first one was tedious but after that the other three go quick. Love the look, love the protection, I'm happy with MagBak. That being said, I agree the acting is horrible. Thanks for the vid though.

Great product idea but someone doesn't know how to properly price a product were consumers consider it worth the price. $100 I would instantly buy it....$150 I would have to think about it but would most likely depending on reviews.... above that I'm looking for alternatives.

I’ve never curbed a set of wheels ever. Proper adjustment of the side mirrors will eliminate guessing where your car is at. Cool video and product though for those that don’t know how to use the mirrors when parking.

This type of product doesn’t work, maybe AlloyGators work better, but I never try them. This 3M glued type of protection rims comes out very easily when you hit the curb making the protection rim totally irrelevant … avoid

Didn't like the fake opening curb rash skit. But okay, it's an interesting product just way too expensive at $300 and then $39 for an extra wheel, normally $79. The better solution would be for Tesla to stop using rim/tire combos where the rims stick out farther than the tires. On most other vehicles the tires stick out a bit further than the rims, which protects the rims from curb rash. I've been driving for almost 50 years and never once had a rim get curb rash until I bought a Tesla. Sure, my tires got curb rashed up a bit but that never damaged them and was easily cleaned up. But here's a huge issue with this product, anyone can just steal them from your rims and you'd probably not even notice it right away. Also Raj, their site says the extra wheel is $39, not $39.99 like you said in the video.

How about you learn to drive and stay aware of WHERE your wheels are? I've been driving 32 years, and I have scratched the wheels of my vehicles about 3 times, mostly the early years of driving. I have custom aftermarket Arachnid staggered wheels on my Tesla Model 3 Performance and I am ALWAYS aware of where they are. I stay away from the curve, and take advantage of the cameras to see where my Teslla is when having to drive close to anything. And if I ever scratch them, I will do what I have done in the past, get matching paint, wet sand thebscratch, and carefully repaint it.
