Easy Cherry loaf/Cherry Madeira cake/gawa's kitchen/Southafricanyoutuber

175g butter
175g castor sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1+3/4 cup Selfraising flour/220g
1 teaspoon baking powder
150g glaced cherries
I baked @170 degrees Celsius Fan assisted
55-1hour

Aslm Alykm Gawa I tried the cherry cake again today. It sank again in the centre but not as bad as the previous one. I used normal sugar and I only 100g of 🍒. Could this be the cause maybe🤔

I always use normal sugar so can't be that even if u used less cherries still shouldn't sink can't really pin point what it can be cause I'm not there to see,could it be your oven is not warm enough or u opened oven while baking or maybe it needed a few more minutes in the oven really not sure

insha'Allah I am going to master it. Really don't know what is causing it. I do bake alot so I am aware of possible things that can go wrong I've oven temperature not opening the over etc. Not giving up on this one😊. We are still enjoying the cake anyway ❤
