Thank you so much for this. At last I make an interesting fried rice. I did not have all your secret ingredients, so I used a little chilly oil, 3 colours of bell peppers, mushroom and ham chunks too. And focused on the separation.. each portion cooked separately in its own time, juices and way. Divine. Excellent recipe.

Yes I do use the finger technique whenever I cook plain rice. My big brother's wife taught me this way back in 1994. Delicious and appetizing looking. Will try this recipe 🙂

Yesterday I made your cornbeef and kobbi. Instead of kobbi I used Mackerel. It turned out really well except I added a little too much salt but I managed to fix it up a lil. Your channel is amazing! My sweet, did you by any chance hear the conversation I had with a friend about Chinese fried rice, yesterday?! I've known my friend for 7 years now and I just discovered that he has never had Chinese food before. I was so shocked because I generally thought that he would have had at least, one dish, given that Accra does have a number of Chinese restaurants. The ones at Spintex being my favourite! Actually there are different versions of Chinese friedrice. Depends on the province…I am not too sure which ones are used in Ghana, maybe too they localise. But we do have some similarities and even their seasonings…

And basmati rice do you buy a sack or large bag from Asian shop?? Because I used to with my nigerian friend and we went halves.but now I live in Scotland 🇬🇧 no Asian shops.and although I wash my rice from a supermarket it goes stodgy.
