I don't mix or use the tea towel, I use the, LET 'ER RIP!!! Method. It's my favorite, I feel it garners more sympathy and appreciation from the people that eat my bakes because I'm covered in flour it looks like I worked very, very, hard!

These cookies are excellent! I made them last night and not only are they delicious, the dough is easy to handle and it does keep it's shape, I cut out a cookie puzzle and all the pieces fit after baking! I will be adding this to my "Best Cookies" folder. Thank you! PS. On the recipe listed there isn't the tsp of coffee. I did add it. :)

What a beautiful home, so relaxed and comfortable... the dark kitchen seams to recede into the background and becomes almost invisible behind the white island as it becomes part of the furniture, love it..... can't wait to see your new kitchen! Now about the cornflour, I really like the feel of it, it's so silky, but when I mix a little with water, yuk if you add too much you can't seam to mix it to a paste - the spoon almost stands up in the cup! I mostly use it when making Chinese, just a little in the sauce. Cookies look a winner, chocolate and peppermint...yes!
