@andrei1637 I use Dex for everything I have to do on a computer and I use it every day to get my work done. Around 8 to 11 hours or more, I use Dex daily. At the end of the day, I might play my favorite Nintendo switch games on Dex with an emulator and controller or watch a movie or show. By the way, if your phone is older and Dex overheats. Just take a medium size sawnitch bag and fill it up with water and lay your phone on the bag and it will stay 30 degrees Celsius forever. My Dex runs at a native 1440p.

Slight correction. The Samsung S24 Ultra DOES have 4k 120FPS, but you have to go in the PRO VIDEO mode, in the extra modes tab.

I saw a test which compared the 4K 120 of S24 Ultra vs 16 Pro Max and the 16PM looks soo much better. The iPhone is doing 4K120 with HDR so it is actually filming 4K240 and combining the high and low exposure images together. The Samsung is just filming 4K120 with no HDR and it looks considerably worse.

What I like about the iPhone 16 PM: - stable software updates - better video quality and audio capture - how it keeps most of the quality when uploading pictures/videos to apps (I don't care about the ecosystem and iMessages/FaceTime-we don’t really use that stuff here in my country) What I like about the Samsung S24U: - 100x zoom for photos - how easy it is to manage files (like accessing it on a Windows computer or transferring between an external hard drive) - my favorite, the AI gimmicks, which I use a LOT (circle to search, quick searches, sketch to image) So both have their pros and cons, and it really depends on how you’ll use them. (I own a custom-built PC because "nobody games on Apple")

I had the 16 pro max ordered but cancelled last second because all the videos I've watched. I'm not certain I'll like the dynamic island as that's a lot of screen missing. Unless that can be hidden in videos and games. Basically the main reason I was considering getting the s24 ultra of 25 ultra when it comes out. I will say though, the Samsung keyboard really does suck, but it at least feels somewhat premium like apple's keyboard. The Samsung keyboard gets miss presses all the damn time and the Google keyboard is not an option, too ugly

i have the s24u and currently trying a iphn16promax... try this test using a simple game like spider solitaire... on the s24u i can save all my stacks of cards minus the last card ie the aces and at the end wuickly touch ace after ace and it smoothly foes them all at same time... iphn cant it has to do one at a time...and if i play a move and click to back up one step over snd over fast ie replay same move over snd over after a handful of times i can cause the cards to freeze overlayed on each other and crash game on iphn... not sure where the diff is but the s24u is more like a personal computer while the iphn seems light duty...maybe something to do with ram? no idea

Buy Samsung after 2 to 3 months for 400 from 1200. I got s24 ultra with 300 discount and trade in and app discount plus another 10%. Resale value is very poor. I bought iPhone 15 pro max as well. Used it for 10 months and still sold it for 750. Both are fantastic phones.

iPhone is only one but android is unlimited 😮 probably this is the reason why iOS in keeping his value and is not bad. I managed to get iPhone 15 pro max at £30 per month and sim free from sky mobile and from three I managed to get s24 ultra with £33 per month with only £ 5 sim contract for the internet I use a SIM card from three which I ordered for my home broadband and I take out the SIM card from hub and I have 5 G unlimited with only £12 for 6 months and after I will pay £24. With only £87 per month I managed to get 2 the best phone on the market. On sky mobile you have an option to chose a SIM card with unlimited minutes and sms for free only 100 mb data but still is amazing for the device price. If you need date is a lot of options out there either prices extremely low like lyca mobile 50 GB for £6.5 per month they using EE antenna reception and the internet is good no problems . But run firm Ee O2 and even three is you don’t find good deals. Is not about financial stability is mor for buy smart and enjoy the value of your hard work efort . Under £100 a month you will be able to use them both if you need both phones. 😊 Try this … you are welcome! ❤

I got a great deal on the Ultra this week. £300 off by trading in my 4 year old (yes 4!) S20 FE. A further £50 off just for buying on their app and a free Chromebook as well. Pretty chuffed. My only reservation was the size of the thing. Screen size is half an inch larger than standard and it's pretty long. But it's the first flagship I've owned for ages so I'm hoping this lasts 3-4 years too 😁

6.82" vs 6.86" only a 0.04" difference, but the s24 ultra because of the squared corner actually overall has more screen making the s24 ultra screen actually bigger and despite the same aspect ratio the square corner make the s24 ultra aspect ratio slightly wider overall. The iPhone 16PM next to the s24 ultra looks like a 20:9 aspect ratio.

So, where does Samsung stand next to Apple in this regard? I prefer my iPhone 16 Pro because it’s a much better quality phone. I own both phones - the iPhone 16 Pro Max (1TB) and the Samsung S24 Ultra (512GB), both on AT&T - and in my opinion, the iPhone is superior. Even without the artificial intelligence features, it is still a much better phone overall. The only thing I like better on the Samsung is the zoom on the camera, which is superior to the iPhone’s. The AI features on the Samsung are pretty good, and I love that Google doesn’t require me to keep a credit card on file just to download a free app. But even with these features, I still prefer the iPhone over the Samsung. The iPhone experience is just so polished. Everything works the way it’s supposed to, and you get constant updates. Although Samsung has improved a lot in pushing out updates, they still don’t release them as often as Apple. Sure, Samsung might introduce a gimmicky feature, but that’s not something Apple couldn’t implement in their OS with a software update. The iPhone also feels more premium, which it is. The iPhone uses a higher-grade titanium for its frame than what Samsung uses, and the iPhone’s glass screen is superior to Samsung’s. I’ve also noticed that when watching movies, Samsung phones have issues with color banding, while the iPhone has virtually none, indicating that the iPhone’s video encoder is much better. The iPhone has faster memory bandwidth than the Samsung, which not only makes it snappier, but when combined with the Metal API, you can play console-quality games like Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Village, and Assassin’s Creed smoothly. The phone doesn’t overheat while playing these games, unlike the previous iPhone 15 Pro, making it a significant upgrade for mobile gamers.

No this guy is clearly biased against iPhones and missed a lot of important information. The 16PM scored better performance on cinebench with a better CPU. The 16PM handles games much better. The battery lasts longer on the 16PM and the camera is much better than the SG24. So no the Samsung doesn’t “win pretty much hands down” they are both great phones it’s up to personal preference.

In Brasil the choice is way easier, S24 ultra $1200 US dollars, iphone 16 pro max $1800 US dollars, both with 256gb, and if you are patient you'll find the S24 ultra under 1000 dollars on sale from time to time, sometimes the sale is for the 512gb, it's not even close, and here Samsung at least send the charger.

I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store many days ago and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects , multi tasking, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, emulation at a higher level w no limitations, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I'll wait for the s25 ultra. I think Xiaomi , Huawei, Honor, Google, Red Magic, and Samsung are far ahead in innovation. For me I left Apple years ago because it has too many limitations in comparison. For me I can't live without beinf able to download anything, edge panel and copy and paste clipboard, stylus support, no foldables etc but some things like imessage and consistent video quality, AI personal voice and iTunes few things here and there are implemented well but android is just more fun for me these days.

Samsung, Google Pixel and Xiaomi have a lot more to offer than apple these days. iPhone is more of a fashion accessory. There's some things that annoy me in the iPhones but there's one that I'm like wanting to smash the phone: having to jump out of the camera app into the settings to have to change something!! omg what is apple thinking that they don't change this? Imagine taking a pic in the street with your friends and suddenly you want to change something, make a video a slowmo with different settings whatever and like "hey wait a min, i have to go into settings, blah blah blah" c'mon man. The problem with that drop test is that the area is flat... if there were iregular shape objects on the platform such are rocks that screen would definitely break. Although for normal use which happens most often than not, that case is a blessing.

Not necessarily true. I dropped my iPhone 15 Pro plenty of times on gravel, and the screen never broke. I’ve dropped it more than once, so you can’t say it will definitely break now. Is there a chance of a break under certain circumstances? Sure, but to say that it will break from a drop, definitely if it’s on a surface that’s not completely flat, is untrue.

The iPhone 16 PRO MAX does not justify the price tag , And arguably the reason people pay the premium is as follows : The Apple eco system which is still the best No drop frames in the iPhone video recording and silky smooth video playback Apple basically is every media platform in camera and the data share is top quality versus Android falling short on said categories mentioned 2 . Samsung's on release always have great deals if you are prepared to just buy the handset. I got an S24 Ultra, free "Double storage" upgrade with pre order (I have 1tb), £470 trade in for my S22, Free Galaxy Watch, Free Disney+ for a year. And for all of that I paid about around £750 direct from Samsung. Also you occasionally get Web Exclusive colours direct from Samsung. It means I pay about £70 a month for a rolling fully unlimited EE Contract and the handset, which is paid off in 18 months rather than 2 years. Just in time for the S26 (always skip a generation these days)

You can turn off the image processing in camera settings. I can't remember the name of the setting but you can definitely turn some setting off and the images get more natural withouth the standard oversharpening and added contrast. S23 Ultra image processing is too damn good!

I actually went from the S24U to the 16PM. I am a lifelong Samsung user who wanted to try something new. I have been playing with the 16PM about a week, and I have decided to keep my S24U. The 16PM is a solid phone from top to bottom especially the battery life. iPhone video is still better than Samsung, but Samsung is closing the gap. The other camera features is about the same. However, finding files can be a problematic unlike on any android. A lot of my files got renamed to a generic name. Likewise, it took me over 12 hours to transfer all my files unlike a one hour for Samsung. Smart Switch is way better than Move to IOS.

You can get the S24U very cheap these days. I like that the Samsung phones get cheaper fairly quickly. You just wait a month or two and already can have a great deal. And also Sammy has reversed charging. Watching content with that dynamic island can be a pain. I like the greater screen utilization in the s24u, but those corners also make it difficult to pocket the phone.

This is the most neutral review I’ve watched. I have both IPhone 16 Pro and Samsung S24 Ultra and the S24 Ultra has great hardware and lots of features packed. iPhone is great because of the iOS operating system which is well thought through and smooth. If iPhone 16 Pro had better cameras (not just software and processor) and have equally capable AI functions it would have become the best phone.

Call on loud speaker is a lot louder on the iphone. My s24 ultra activates only 1 speaker on the bottom. My s25 ultra got 20% by 5pm. The 16 pro max has around 55%. There is no comparison when it comes to battery. S24 ultra is more like a mini computer. File management, secure folder. Ios is like solfware for grandma and grandpa. S24 ultra screen in the best
