That’s such a great perspective yeah life is long. I think of Martha Stewart and all the different phases she’s had where she was like the queen of the perfect home and then went and served years in prison and then got out and restarted a career with Snoop Dogg and she’s done so much and had lots of phases I don’t know why when you were talking it reminded me of that :)

Ughh Jenny! I’ve loved your evolution since the start of your channel! I think because you don’t speak much on sustainability/ do thrift videos much anymore people assume you are no longer interested or involved in the same interests but like you said we are multi faceted people who are constantly changing and growing. It doesn’t mean we no longer have passion or interests in certain subjects that we used to it’s just that in certain seasons of life they may take a backseat and we come back to them later. Love to see your growth and I adore you. Sending you lots of love and happiness in life you little angel 👼

I wanna surf with you one day!! Also, really loved the wrap up. When we let different parts of ourselves/ eras come and go as they need to we start really living and acquiring new skills and passions without forcing anything.

Wooow Jenny, watching this felt like a celebration 💖 I’ve been watching your vlogs for years now, since you were at uni doing fashion videos, and I gotta say that as time goes on they get richer and richer with your style, interests and ideas. It’s still very clear that you value sustainability it’s probably just more implicit now and to be honest I really enjoy that. Like you’re just doing your thing and sustainability is a given that is reflected in how you engage with the world. Ps I love your *life is long* chat, I’ve never thought of that before and I’m a someone who needs to be reminded that I can take my time (because I need a lot of it) so it really landed nicely and I will definitely carry that with me from now on.

yesss I've been thinking about letting go of old focuses of mine to embrace new ones but it's not even that that """era""" is over it's still a part of who i am and i'll probably return to it later in life, but i realized i can't really go 100% into all of these paths all at once, so it's nice thinking about which routes i wanna take and focus on in this period of my life

Interconnectivity of all things is very much real! And meditating aligns you with your true self/intentions, so it allows you to be more aligned with life itself = ~synchronicities~ 🤓

Thank you for that perspective! I had to move back home to my tiny hometown for almost a year now, much longer than originally planned. I would have days where it felt like I was stuck here for the rest of my life (dramatic much, lol) but thinking about what a small chunk of time it is in comparison makes it worth the wait. And I have learned and accomplished so much in this time, I really do believe everything happens when it's supposed to.

sometimes it’s hard going back home, but I’ve also realized there is so much to be loved and accomplished here too. great way to change your perspective. you should be proud of yourself. God bless you ♥️

The past year I was really unsure if I wanted to go back to school again. I found this 4 year study that seems really up my street but being 26 it felt like way too much time to potentially waste. In the end I was being scared and insecure, I needed to follow my interest. And so I signed up and im excitedly looking forward to it. Your thoughts about seeing years in your life like little ares resonates with me. What is 4 years in school to 30 years using the skills I will have learned?

I love how quirky and wise you are. You embody my life long mantra: maturing while becoming less serious. What you mention about phases feels SOOO true. It’s something that has been present in my life too for the pst few months. This idea that we live so many different lives within the one we actually call “life” and that each of these smaller ones are usually characterized by something (what you mention by a phase) and it’s SOOO refreshing to look back at your older phases / lives and realize how much everything’s changed, how much you’ve changed. I think it’s so refreshing and rewarding to view everything this way because it’s liberating to know that no matter what happens, we’re living all these little moments and lives each and every day.
