Girl, I love your enthusiasm & great ideas. Several years ago, I started spray painting large plastic pots with bright colors & placing them EVERYWHERE ! Yes, some of them - the paint wore off in places , but that's okay . I so appreciate that you show others to recycle scraps of paper, twigs, leaves, kitchen scraps, etc. & turn them into soil . My compost piles & bins are full of toilet paper rolls, leaves, food scraps, paper, coffee grounds, etc .

Thank you for sharing your soil alternative trick! This is exactly what I've been thinking about today if I can do the same for my grow bag containers this summer. I was planning to go a bit more conservative by doing 50% layers of branches/shredded cardboard and 50% compost mixed soil, but it is definitely assuring to see how beautifully your veggies have grown using this method

Robbie, I’m concerned that the angle of your chairs make the totes sit in such a way that would make the back of the totes collect about 3 inches or so of water before it would drain in the front. Perhaps a piece of wood or something under the back of the tote would level them off? Or do you have drain holes in the back also? I do so enjoy your ideas and enthusiasm ...-11 in Wisconsin today. Keep up the good work, we enjoy gardening in our off season through you! Thanks. Also, tell Gary I’m still looking for his video on your present. I’d like to make one too.

I like to use lids as trays under little seedling pots but also on top of containers I’ve direct seeded during cold nights but also to retain humidity. Love love love the rainbow colors!

Started your tote gardening last spring- easy and excellent results! I also layered in some 3-5gallon pots- now have a chard plant that is massive. Got a problem: I too ordered Some totes with Wal-Mart order- they upgraded me to a much nicer, clip lid type, at same price- can't get myself to drill holes in a fancy tote!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

i cant WAIT to see that water feature. I learned from you.... that birds love a good branch by fountain. So i collect some small branches that have fallen off of trees and stick them in the ground near by. Absolutely brilliant to weave that tree with the chair.

Exactly the kind of "raised" garden I've been looking for. Thank you so much. I live in a RV park in a very rural area. Hundreds of hay grass fields surround the park. I am concerned about drawing rodents and I know we have wild rabbits, plus a year round flocks of ducks. I don't feed them but I'm in a corner lot with a large yard. The ducks live in & love my yard. No bug problems for me. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Robbie. I have a square flower pot about 18" square with 4 legs, that had drain holes in it. When changing the plants and soil, I found a root 1/4" in one of the drain holes of the leg. The closest tree is approximately 50' away. I couldn't believe it and immediately thought of you and your video about that. It does happen folks. Happy gardening in your new🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈garden😄
