Here’s one I recently found…miniature house kits! It’s like Legos but you’re putting together a dollhouse from scratch. It’s mindless yet keeps your brain engaged at the same time…it’s just amazing. And you get adorable tiny houses and “book nooks” for your bookshelf!

Suggestions for an inexpensive cozy hobby? Wrap yourself in a blanket and learn the recorder (~$8). Read a book by a roaring fireplace (you can do 4-6 times per week for like a season with a full cord of wood, $300). I don't know if you get better cozy for money ratio in other activities than that, if you do lmk? Maybe play chess and drink a bottle of wine with your friend? Listen to audio books in the bath (you can get these from the library)? That's pretty cozy, right?

writing (free bc who doesn’t have paper n a pen) , pilates (free) , flowers (go outside n find flowers, read ab them etc. Put it in a journal and press them.) ((free)) , reading (free, if you have a library card at your local one), knitting/ croqueting ( under £10), embroidering (under £5, but depends on how much you want to spend), painting (under £10), puzzles (depends, you can get some for as little as £4), diamond painting (some can be around £5, depends on how much you want to spend) Also this is more personal, because recently I’ve been interested in psychology, so I’ve dedicated a notebook to it, and in my free time I listen to my playlists on Spotify whilst writing notes on it.

I suggest looking up zines and how to make them (they're different from magazines in that they're handmade booklets that can be given to friends/loved ones, and made for fun)! They're also very inexpensive too (just need some paper and pencils and/or pens - and there's a lot of great tutorials online about how to make them/inexpensive supplies).

Here some hobbies I did and that I enjoyed Making bracelets - definitely recommend, this hobby lasted me almost over a year but then I stopped when I wanted to find a new hobby! It’s so fun, relaxing, and takes your mind off of stuff. It also looks super cute and you can create it how ever you like! You can also sell them and order super cute deals!! Recommend making clay bracelets Re-doing your phone screen / iPad screen - whenever you go, it looks super aesthetic and you can change it however you would like!! It feels so good to have a new, refreshed, unique screen and there is so many ways you customize it and change it! Finding a new series - I know reading a book sounds boring but once you find a good series, it can last you months or years and it can inspire you to write or think more creatively! It’s also just a good way to take a break and escape reality! For ages 8-13 I recommend Dork Diaries, Cupcake Diaries, Diary of a Wimpy kid, Wonder, Keeper of the Lost Cities. For ages 14-18, The summer I turn pretty, hunger games, maze runner, also keeper of the lost cities! Making a wishlist - it’s super relaxing especially while playing your favorite wishlist and drinking a nice cup of refreshing water or lemonade! You can get or save up for stuff which can motivate you and also it takes up time quickly finding new ideas to get stuff! Drawing / animating - OMGOSHH this is so good, this is like a lifetime hobby, I always like to draw but the time it was my biggest hobby was for 3+ years!! I love it and it helps you be a more creativity, prettier drawer. It also takes up time quickly and can do it anywhere! You can make it where it looks aesthetic or how ever you would like Learning / doing a sport - classic! It’s super fun and it can go super far! If you really like it, you can do it competitively. I been doing cheer for 6+ years and competitively for a few months and its super fun! Some sports that is super popular or you might like to do is soccer, volleyball, cheer, pickle ball, futsal, track and tennis! They usually last a long time and they can take you far, good exercise, and good for your health! Here are some hobbies I liked to do and did which was fun!! Extra hobbies ideas🌺 Creating bracelets Watch TV Take a relaxing bath Write a story Play Roblox Do your Duolingo Debazzle something Look at sports Go on a walk Watch a movie Re-do your phone Create a rountine Make a wishlist Yoga Exercise Edit videos Nap Draw Write Make a prayer board Make a fidget board Make a Pinterest board Create a “potion” Make a social media Make ASMR Aesthetically study Do your nails Redo your room Cook something Make your own journal DIY crafts Play with your family Make your own board game Make your own game Code Dance Make a makeup rountine Crochet / sew Make new year resolutions or month resolutions Make a sketchbook Go to a shop Make stickers Make paintings Make a skincare rountine Write yourself a future letter Make a Etsy account Read a Bible Do a puzzle Read a interesting series Defy gravity

Definitely recommend checking out zines as well as magazines to read! They sound similar, but zines differ from regular magazines by usually being handmade, creative booklets that are self-published and with small distribution among the community and/or friends/loved ones. I definitely recommend looking up zines and giving them a try - they're very easy to get into.

Low cost hobbies: Origami. Play any tutorial on KZbin and grab a any sheet of paper you have laying around. 100% free. Bookbinding. There are beginner methods that only require staples or glue and you can make notebooks with scrap paper. I get my paper from work. Everything that we print and would end up in the trash, I take it home. Just ask if they're ok with it (don't take sensitive information home). Mending or darning. The only materials needed are thread and a needle. You actually save money in the long run. Baking. I like making pizza or flat bread. You probably already have an oven or a skillet. Very rewarding and also saves money. Sudoku! You don't need to buy a book. You can print sudoku at home, copy it from Google images or play on your phone. 100% free hobby.
