If you do 15 dc of course you have 15. do not count 1st stitch. also I thinking maybe you count ch 2 what left from ch 3 when we started do 15 dc in 3rd chain, In my videos I never count ch 2 as stitch, because ch 2 is ch 2 and stitches are stitches.

Yes, of course, you can! I have a problem with this magic ring :) I still do not know how to do it quickly for the camera. :DDD To make a magic ring is just very uncomfortable for me. You can always change patterns if you like. Also if the video is too fast for you, you can go to settings, playback speed, and change it to slow.

Hat can't be very smaller if you used the same size yarn and crochet hook what I told to use. You have to use the same size yarn 100g /300m and 6.00mm crochet hook.

Hello, No I do not have 12/18 months with ear flaps, but you can use kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZeTaWlpqLKgY6M this pattern for 12-24 months and ear flaps you can use 6-12 months video just instead 8 sts for ear flaps make 9 or 10 this you need try how looks good for your child. Also between one ear to other ear maybe need 1 or 2 stitches more. You can make one ear flap try on hat and then you see where exactly for your child need make second ear flap. Ear flaps 6-12 months video start from 28 min. Also for ear flaps you can use smaller crochet hook otherwise ear flaps will be too thin. Big hook big holes. Try and then see.

I always making FPdc and BPdc stitches like this. I mean start with FPdc and finish with FPdc then between first and last stitch less can see joined stitches. You hat made then all is fine :)

Thanks! You can use video for 6-12 months just use smaller crochet hook instead 6.00mm You will need 5.00mm crochet hook. Hat in natural way will be smaller and will fit for 3-6 months. I can not go more slowly video already 44 min I can not make video 1.5h or 2 h people do not like, most important places I showing slowly and I showing what I will do next + I wrote all on the video screen to stop video and you can see on the screen written pattern. + you can go to settings and chooses speed what is good exactly for you. You no need crochet the same speed what I do, you watch video first , stop video and then repeat. I watched my video I see I often stop and showing what I done as well. I do not know I can not help more. You have to change video speed. Very sorry.

@@melvinkrespomello You can use yarn #4 Aran/worsted, also hat will be bigger. My hat crown is 4", you can try different ways to get 4"-4.5" also can try increase stitches but I think it is difficult exactly for this pattern. Also if you crochet loosely maybe you will get 4" hat crown, hard to say everybody crochet differently. Try first and then we think again what to do :)

I suggest increase after hat crown done. You can increase 1 round 1 stitch one round last stitch. If need can increase 3rd round as well after hat crown done. Jut follow pattern when increased you have to make 1 FPdc and one BPdc

Thankyou for the video for this hat, I have made the 0/3 month no problem, but this one for 6/12 month is very confusing it would be very helpful if it was closer to the camera and tilted forward so we could actually see where you are inserting the hook ,I can only get to round 3 , round 4 is so confusing I give up after trying for 12th time :{

I do not have written patterns. I am video pattern creator. I making small notes for myself when I create patterns. For example make hat crown FPdc and BPdc 6". ( I already know what need to do) then 5" FPdc and BPdc only, make ears 7 stitches wide. Its all nothing else I have. I write with pen no computer. I making only video patterns. Sorry.

What type of yarn is used here?

I used Double knit (Brand Stylecraft) can use light worsted or 100g ball have 300m. Also can use Aran yarn or worsted weight, but then need smaller crochet hook 5.00mm otherwise hat will be too big. You can make hat crown if you have 4" then your yarn and crochet hook is correct and can continue crochet.

Need to know how big crown? Sometimes I use thicker yarn or bigger crochet hook sometimes I making extra rounds different ways I do. @@bigpizzeyTry first make how this is 6-12 months pattern and 6mm hook if you do not have 5mm crochet hook instead. You no need make bigger hat crown if you want to make hat 3-6 months. Try make hat crown first with this wool and hook what you have and then see how big will be hat crown? and then later we can talk again. hat crown should be 4.5"-5" for 3-6 months.

I do not know, I do not have anymore this hat to count for you. If you made this hat then you know if from one ear flap to other 11 stitches +16 both ear flaps then all other stitches left for front. If I had this hat then I told you. possible 25 + stitches approx.

Very sad you can not follow. I suggest you if you watch from smartphone press 3 dots go to settings and change video speed to slower speed. You have to make from video hat crown there 6 or 7 rounds only. and then all other rounds you have to repeat FPdc and BPdc.
