Hello! That could could be an option- Maybe using triple crochet instead of doubles (then DC instead of HDC) could help with the length too! But I think the easier way would be to do this same pattern and use #5-6 yarn with #4.5-6mm hook to size up! (Let me know how it works out! I might try this with mine too 😆)

update i finished it :3 for those who have cn dolls i suggest: 31 foundation chain, 5 dc, chain 6 (skip 3), 13 dc, chain 6 (skip 3), 6 dc butttt still your preference:))
