You are my idle with doing this. I do this. Just finished 3 for my own. But normally I make kitty blankets and donate them to shelters and rescues in memory of one of my babies I lost... Eeyore. We found him outside and it took us weeks to catch him, then he only lived for 3 weeks :( but he got to know what true love was his last part of his life. And he loved my crocheted blankets and would climb under them while I was crocheting, so I made him one. Then after he passed I started making them in his memory. :) so seeing this makes me so happy :))

This makes a great blanket for babies!! Have made several and they love to fiddle with the texture which comes from using baby weight yarn. It creates a blanket that can be used year round.
@pamm22307 жыл бұрын
Also...for a boy blanket I added two rows of single crochet around the outside edge, for a girl blanket simply add a shell edge around the outside edge, include a hat and/or botties for a nice ensemble for the new baby and parents.

Thank you Mikey, I was looking for cat blanket for my daughter's cat Hobo who just turned 18 years old and got a clean bill of health from the vet😻

I made one with a size 6 hook and the stitches were too large, my cat got her claws caught up and her teeth when on her side. So I'm making one with a SC then a half double, with a size 5 hook. Makes the stitches a bit tighter. Either way, this is a great pattern. Thanks 😊

@TheCrochetCrowd Mikey. I have a few skeins of #5 bulky yarn that my cat is absolutely OBSESSED with.😂 If I used this yarn, would this simply make the blanket bigger?

Love the blanket! I'm going to make one for my son's cat that is sick and isolates herself. It's so strange that Yarnspirations used this stitching because the sc, dc, pattern of stitching is what I ended up doing to make my kitchen rug because I couldn't find one dense enough to suit me! It turned out great and I put one of your borders around it to finish it off. Thanks for the tutorial, Mikey!!

Sorry but I don't have a clue what 30 square is. What size is the cat blanket in inches? width & length
Just found this. I am making two of them one for each of my kitties. When my husband and I move in a few months we are re homing them to my mom and sister (keeping them together) cause one of them would not handle a long distance move well and we can't separate them. I am making them as "moving" presents. They have spent time at my mom and sisters before and do well there so I'm not worried about leaving them but wanted to have something for them.

I'm really struggling with this to see if you go through both loops or just one loop (? At the ends). I've only been crocheting for 3 months but this is the one thing I keep struggling with! Pls help 😨
@TheCrochetCrowd7 жыл бұрын
You go through the turning chain, not really 2 loops.
@livingwithmci-mildcognitiv3970 Жыл бұрын
I clicked on the link, but I still can't find the pattern! Did you flip your chain over?

Link is working and so is the pdf. I'm unsure why that's happening to you. I'm sorry.
@kamekaofficer51543 жыл бұрын
Do we have to just chain one and do the pattern again or we have to do the exact same thing he did in the video over and over again which is basically chaining three doing the pattern chaining one doing the pattern chaining three…….
@TheCrochetCrowd3 жыл бұрын
The repeating of the pattern is suggested in the free pattern that is linked in the video description. This stitch will have 2 different repeating rows. So after you couple those two, you start again doing the same 2 rows and so on.
