What a wonderful tutorial! The top is very pretty and Fabi looks incredible! The background music is perfect and the contrast between the background and the color of the yarn makes it easy to see. Beautiful!!!

Hi Fabi! I made the top haven't made the straps yet but it's still super cute. My only concern is I'm afraid of streching out the top while wearing and removing it, does the elastic make it easier? Otherwise I was thinking about adding few more stitches and a tie-up back.
@fabicaramba
@fabicaramba Жыл бұрын
Hi! The elastic makes a huge difference, it makes sure the top keeps it shape so I highly recommend it. The tie-up back sounds like a great alternative though!

this tutorial is very easy to understand especially for beginners like me! ❤️ but i just want to clarify, is the chain 1 in every start for the main body part counts as 1 single crochet already?

How do you connect the straps? Do you tie them or connect it the same way as after round 3?

Hi! I tie them around the neck like a halter top. :)

Hey Fabi! I’m a little confused on the strap part. Because you are chaining 1 and 2 (1 after sc and 2 at end of row) you are increasing stitches. However, you still refer to “2 single and 3 double”. Because we are increasing, it’s now more than 2 and 3. Should I increase and go with it, or was this not intentional and should I not chain? Thanks 😊
@fabicaramba
@fabicaramba 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Chloe! I think you’re referring to when I should’ve said “single crochet in the next 2 stitches and double crochet in the next 3 stitches”. There are no increases except for the chain, you should end up with 6 double crochets at the end. Hope I’m explaining it well!

When I do the top ribbing for some reason the rows are not straight. They sort of lean inward. Any idea why that’s happening? I’ve had to keep restarting for the past 2 hours because it looks so sloppy to me.
