Easy Crochet Heart Basket | Heart Box

Super easy tutorial to make a crochet heart basket or heart box which can also be used as a Valentines Day gift. It can be used to store jewelry, coins or basically storage of any small items.
You can a change that size of the box based on yarn and hook size
1. Small size - Single strand of cotton yarn(3.5mm hook)
2. Medium size - Double strand cotton yarn(5mm hook)
3. Large size - Bulky yarn (6mm hook)
Things used:
1. Crochet Hook: Size 5mm
2. Yarn : (Cotton yarn in red, double strand)
Brand: Peaches and Cream, 4ply, 2.5oz-120yds
3. Scissors
4. Fabric stiffener (optional)

Hi, I am not sure if I can upload video for the lid soon, so here is the pattern, it’s pretty simple , once the base is done(i.e. round R1 and R2) you need to add one more round of single crochet, the pattern will be (1sc, 1inc), after that make R3 same as the base part.

Aoa mam I tried this and turned out really pretty however it is too small for me to keep some things can you guide me if I want to make one of like bigger than a palm size or like can u guide me how to increas the size likewise like in what pattern it increases according to the size

Thank you for your lovely comment. I think the easiest way will be to follow the same pattern but double the yarn or use bulky yarn (change hook accordingly). You could also try adding 1 more round to the base with alternate increase (eg: 1sc, 1inc) for that round. Hope this helps.😊
