The last time I crocheted my grandmother taught me when I was about 10 or 11 years old. I sure do miss her. I'm still watching this video. You are very clear but, it just seems extremely difficult to me. Thank you for doing 1 color. I figured trying one color shouldn't be too bad. Now I just need to purchase my supplies.

Hi! Absolutely loved the clarity of your tutorial and have a question… how many rows in each square and how many squares is best for a baby blanket? The colors I’m using are yellow, white, gray, & turquoise. I’m really excited as my first square came out perfect (thanks to you!) I appreciate the time your taking to answer my questions, have a great day🤗

I really hope you see this comment and reply! I just have a question about the corners. After you’ve completed a round and slip stitch through to start the next round, is there a reason you chain 2 as your first double crochet instead of just doing a double crochet? I understand why you do it for the very first round bc it establishes your corner, but after that, it doesn’t seem to matter. Unless it’s a visual thing I don’t know about. I hope this makes sense! Thanks so much for this video! It really helped me!!
@erica_arndt Жыл бұрын
Yes, if you start off with a double crochet it can lay weird. That said, try it, and if you are okay with how it looks, go for it :)

Instead of a slip stitch can I start this with a Magic Ring? I'm new so not sure how to convert the chains to the MR and chain
@erica_arndt Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use a magic ring to start, then just start your first row, don't worry about the chains to start, just pull your magic loop tight once you get the first round done.
