You’re my absolute favorite!!! I’ve been trying to do the penguin but for some reason I can’t get the center white area centered. It starts going in on one side so looks uneven 🥺 any tips? Because I believe I’m following the instructions step by step. I am using thicker yarn than in the video because I want a bigger penguin 😍

Really thick yarn can sometimes cause pieces to skew more than otherwise… you can try to centre at the back by adding a few stitches at the end of every few rounds. Basically after every few rounds, add a few stitches to make sure you’re directly at the back, and then make that your new end of round 😊

I love this cute Penguin pattern and the way you explain how to make it, I tried making it and the body turned out so cute but when I tried to attach the wings from the front they look lined up but when you turn the Penguin around looking at the back of it one wing is way up higher than the other one, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can someone please help me with this issue? Thank you.

I really enjoy your videos. The instructions are great. I’m having a little bit of difficulty with this one. You stopped increasing at 36 stitches, but then when you did the first decrease round 17 the graphic says you should have 36 stitches at the end of the round . Should it be 30 stitches at the end of round 17 ? Thank you

Yes this is a typo; it should be 30 🙂

This really threw me off because in the previous rounds, I realized that I had 40 stitches instead of 36. I pulled them out and found that I still had 40 before that point, so i continued ahead, doing two decreases in the first two rounds (approximately above the eyes). So when I saw that I was supposed to have 36 after the four decreases, I wondered if I had it right in the first place. I'll try another one tomorrow.

If you see in R18, it has 24, so in R17 she just made a mistake in editing, but it has 30
