This turned out AWESOME! I made mine in complete Espresso and used off white/espresso buttons. I am going to pair it with a burgundy jogging suits and boots to match. You gave GREAT instructions.

I just made it. Had to wait for the buttons to come via Amazon. My husband thinks that it is a beautiful poncho. I made it using Red Heart super saver in soft white. I wish I could send you a picture. Don't have Facebook, Instagram nor Twitter. Don't even know how to use a cellphone. Anyway, it was an easy and fast poncho. The lacy shell edge really gives an elegant aspect. Will probably crochet another one as a gift. Thank you for the tutorial and great pattern.

I should have read everything before I started, but I was so excited that I found a poncho that I really liked. I like how you explained to put a stitch saver/marker in the chain two.. that was my hardest part so far..except for starting to make double crochets instead lol
