I was so glad that you showed how to sew it up as you were right, this was the most difficult part! Came straight to your channel after reading an appeal on one of the Facebook craft groups for a lady who wants to make a crochet/knitted floral wreath for her beloved grandmother's funeral. I dug out my hook and yarn and have made 4 so far to send to her. Wish I could attach a photo to show you! Thanks for the tutorial!

Oh, Lisa, that's such a lovely comment. Sorry to hear about the ladies loss. What a beautiful thing to be able to do for someone. So pleased the video helped. Yes, you can make or break this flower by the way you sew it up at the end. Pleased you were able to help the lady out. You're very kind to do that for her. Thanks for watching :)

Just what I need. Lovely flower. TFS. Nothing wrong with the sound from here, and my hearing is not the best, but I heard every word. Am delighted to find UK crochet terms here too which is what I am used to.

OMG!!! this is so amazing. I used to do cross stitching but haven't done it in years. These flowers would be so nice a headband for my daughter. I'm gonna go to the haberdashery and try this out. (I will definitely have to watch your other videos to get me started).

Hi Olivia, I've been sitting suffering with really bad flu' and then I pulled my back badly and haven't been able to walk for the past week. Browsing the Internet was about the only thing I could do and I came across your crochet channel with the lovely rose, so I decided to attempt to make a few - your instructions are amazing!. God, you're right, they are so addictive. I used up bits of wool I had, but I thought I would join a couple of wools together to see what effect it made. I have to say, I'm so pleased with them. For a Christmas brooch, I used a red wool and a gold, sort of cottony, crochet yarn together, and I think they look wonderful, so I'm going to give them as presents to my friends. I would like to send you a picture but I'm not sure how to do it - can you advise? Many, many thanks. This has got me hooked!

Learn to Crochet with Girlybunches - Episode 15 Crochet Stitches Conversion Sorry I can't put a link it wont let me :S Hope that helps, and thank you for watching my vids.. :D

alessandra phillips Firstly I wanted to say thank you for your sweet comment, of course you may use it. It's a fairly common rose I think, but not common in looks right? .. Go ahead use it I think it will look lovely on headbands and clips, I've also made a few of those for friends and my etsy shop... I'm going to come and say hi on your FB page now! Thank you for watching my little vid, glad you liked it :D

Love this rose! Couple of questions: How do you add the bead in the middle? Is there a reason you left a long tail after you tied off the second end? Thanks!

Hi Melissa, I hand sewed in the bead, and can't remember why I left a long tail on the second end :) Thanks for watching.

I like your method. I do my crochet roses slightly different. You keep saying to do a treble, but in the video it looks like you are doing a double (wrap the yarn once for a double, twice for a half double or treble). Am I missing something?
