I think I'll make this to go with the skirt that you also showcased. They look really good together. I will make some changes to the top. Puffy sleeves make me feel constricted. They're super cute, but I'd like ruffly sleeves instead. I also didn't have blue, but I have plenty of my favorite lavender color.

I finally finished this today! Nakalimutan ko kelan ako nagstart but I'm so glad I finished it. It's so cute! i finally finished! i will say though the back is too small, but it fits around my waist. So my only suggestion is to maybe make an increase whem making the main base of the top as you go up. Now i am makin and extra piece to go on the back so i can close it

Hi, I'm genuinely losing my mind. At 12:34, what part of the piece is that? Why does the piece go from horizontal double crochets on the left to vertical double crochets on the right? Shouldn't the entire top just be horizontal double crochets starting from the ribbing and working up? I really don't understand what part of the work you're attaching that strap to.

Dont mind it, I only added rows because initially the base that I made is not enough. But the base that I mentioned in the video was enough, just follow the back part (or the part where you're going to put the tie)

It's an open back, you are going to use a tie for the back. 😊 The reason why I made it like that because if you are going to use a tie, you can adjust the fitness of the top on your body. 😊 But If you want it to be a close back, you can connect the base (the ribbed stitch part) and then the rest will follow 😅

I've made an open back shirt before and it's hard to put on cause once i tie the back only the very bottom will change in size. Hii I'm not into crochet since a long time, and I tought that when you said "do not stretch" you means "do not stretch while doing it cause it will stretch on you after" so I decided to make the same size as you (I wear s/m) but the back was way too wide (I was not worried at start cause I thought it would stretch on me after, it don't)I can't attach the straps, so now I don't know how I'm gonna do cause I already did a lot and used different yarn balls, do someone knows how to repair my mistake?

The yarns here in Philippines usually doesn't have a brand, but they call it Indophil Acrylic 😅 I used 1 cake that weights 200 grams
