Tip for larger breasted women!!!! Use the same cup size she uses, and just keep adding rows until the cups large enough. If you use a larger measurement, you’ll end up with extremely tall and thin cups that won’t work. Happy crocheting

If you, like me, are larger chested and running into issues with the length of your cups... I used a 4 ply yarn that seems to be between a 3-4 weight, but closer to 4/aran/worsted (gifted to me with no label). I am about a DD. I chained 25 and then proceeded to add rows until I got the width I wanted, which provided plenty of length as well. The method of measurement in this video doesn't really work for larger chested because we have to add a lot more rows for the width needed, thus leading to the cups gaining a good bit of length from those additional rows. It took some trial and error to figure out I basically needed to chain just barely more than BaeCrochett's own bralet. Don't be afraid to frog and reduce your number of chains if it's starting to feel like it's going to be too long. I started with 60... Then 40... Then 25 before it was finally working up for a good fit.

I just finished this top in weight 4 coral colored cotton yarn and I'M OBSESSED! Since I only had a 4 mm crochet hook for the top, and my yarn weight is thicker than hers, my bralette cups using this method turned out really chunky and I didn't like it. So I crocheted flat bralette cups using another method, and used a 6.5 mm crochet hook for the bottom lace part. Turned out just as beautiful and I can't wait to wear it out on the beach!

Made it with thicker yarn and the final result is just as astonishing. Followed the advice in comments for "larger" breasts, otherwise even for small to medium adding some height on the first chains ends up with tall and thin cups. I had never done front/back post crochet and I found that it was just clear and easy to follow. Took me about a day and a half total Amazing design thanks for sharing!

maybe your yarn is too stretchy or you used a bigger than needed hook for your yarn size because if you look closely at the thumbnail of the video you can really see that the height of the cup beginning from the nipple to the beginning of the strap is approximately the same length as from the bottom of the boob to the nipple so it really is 2 times
