I am a huge fan of all your little struggles. You are like everyone of us, covered in paint and glue and working with the mistakes we make as we go along! Never cut any of those " oh, what's that" moments from the videos. This is exactly what I come here for ;) That and your creativity of turning all those mishaps into beautiful pieces!!!!!

Oh wow! That was such a clever idea with the acetate. I have never seen that tip before. Way to think outside the box!

Love the tip of the acetate over the napkin instead of the fingers because I’ve been known to tear them also lol

Who knew tracing paper could be so useful and versatile. Love how you used it with the napkins. Need to get some of the stronger stuff than I have though.

Always separate from the edge you've cut, because the outer edges of napkins are crimped together. I always lick my thumb and forefinger just on one hand, pinch the edge HARD - finger on top, thumb underneath, allow a few seconds for top and bottom layers to grip your finger and thumb, and then "POW" whip your finger and thumb apart quickly! Done! I can separate napkins in a flash that way! Yes those are gorgeous napkins! Hard not to hoard them! Lovely lovely lovely envelopes! Very delicate and soft, love them! 😘😘😘 EDIT*** i always glue down the white layers too on their own, they make an unusual crispy texture paper for stamping on! Then you can get use out of all 3 layers! 😁

they look lovely and what a great way to use all those napkins...another way to split the napkin layers is to hold the corner between two fingers & blow the corner & they will open slightly

Delicious! I think I'll give the paper bags a good crumple before backing the tracing paper with them. It makes them so soft; no wonder your envelopes feel like fabric. You have such fun ideas, Tina. Thank you. ~ Lisa

Gorgeous napkins and concept. I love them. I was thinking a little velcro dot under the flap would be a nice closure to hold your contents inside. Lovely video! I'm off to pick up some tracing paper. Have a great day!

Tina, another real life video with the same issues we all face in real life. Don’t ever get that way that you think we don’t need to see the things that don’t go perfectly or how to deal with them, that’s why we watch you. You are one of us, mind you you have a lot more ideas than me, thanks for the inspiration. 😁💐Truly gorgeous.

Hi, For taking apart napkins use scotch tape in a roll and it peels right off. Wonderful ideas. Your journal will be gorgeous.
@ruthrivera48234 жыл бұрын
Just stick a piece of tape on the back of the napkin. That will separate the layers. Very easy.

An absolutely great idea. I loved the video Tina, thank you. I will definitely give this a try. I find the easiest way to separate the back from napkins is using sellotape as I find using my fingers only results in tearing the napkin. Thank you again for all your lovely inspirations.

Love this idea using napkin on tracing paper! My tracing paper is thinner (11#) than the one you use but still is really nice and sturdy after using mod podge. I tried using vellum (44 gsm or 30#) and feels stiffer. I was running into the same problem with the last corner puckering. Read people's recommendations and found that the using clips to hold the paper down and remove as you sew works the best. Thanks for this idea. Made a bunch of envelopes and small pockets.

Oh my word, lol .. I swear sometimes visual things just don't connect unless your holding my hand.. Found your other printed on tracing paper envelopes before this one..Sooo easy..Lol. Great timing tho, I have been trying to make my own envelopes but the instructions for the greeting card envelope or "bankers" envelope are just too confusing.. Yours are perfect for the envelope albums and pockets.. Thanks so much!!

How could you do these in an alternative way if you do not have a sewing machine? Just glue them?

What did you do after you stitched it together? To make the folds for making the actual envelope. You jumped from stitching to already done envelope to decorate? Help im lost.
