My mom makes ceviche at least once a month. We are Mexican and we are from Nayarit so we eat a ton of seafood but when you are making ceviche you don’t need to have the shrimp cooked previously. If you put the shrimp in the lemon juice it will cook on its own and you will see the color change into a bright pink.

The ceviche gets a lot more flavor if you get raw shrimp and let it marinate in lemon/lime juice until it’s cooked through. That’s kinda the trick to a lot of mariscos

Knife hack: slice your avocado with the back end of the blade (not the side you cut with). It’ll still slice through easily, but you won’t have to worry about cutting through the peel & cutting your palm!

We just tried the bacon wrapped weenies! 45 mins in the oven didn’t cook our bacon the way we liked it so we swirled the weenies in the bacon grease brown sugar mixture and popped them into the air fryer until they were crispy. AMAZING!!!!!! This could easily be a go to for parties or events

Fun fact! You can use raw shrimp and use lime juice, and let the shrimp sit it in for awhile, the citrus actually will cook the shrimp. Tastes wayyyy better ❤️
