I stopped after watching another trapper when I seen him using sandwich bags. A lot less prep time

It amazes me that you don’t have your traps “prepped/tuned” before you go out in the field! The time taken away from setting traps means less traps set in a day! Pan tension, night latches cleaned, etc. should IMO be done before you go afield to set traps.

This trap was on its third set during the season. They were all tuned at the beginning of the year
