I bet a pizza cooks in like 2 seconds at 9000 degrees. Ha ha. Very cool.

How come these videos have only 500 views and 2 likes??? This is what DYI people want, not necessarily some instructions on expensive overly complicated plans. And with the infra red temperature gun you can prove you get the same function as the dome model - I always wondered what were the necessary bits of a wood fired pizza ovens and what were just the traditional parts. No need for a flue or chimney because of the gaps in the bricks allow for air flow. And I'm thinking that with some adjustments you could cook some pasta and sauce, or veal scallopini and fried egg plant and a huge pot of spiced red wine on top too, just to round off the banquet. Sure, I'd love a mosaic-covered mini Taj Mahal in my yard like the next bloke, but this will do the job. Pizza oven for $200 bucks, 100 bricks and a few besser blocks and some a bit of furnace cement. This brings wood fired pizza to the common man! :) Really great set of videos, you have a great style and approach. When I replicate your design in Nimbin Australia I'll send you a photo of our first pizza! Great work mate!

How does the angle iron hold up after a while. Does the heat make it sag.

Just wondering what happens when the firebrick gets wet with rain?
@pizzaguy53788 жыл бұрын
nothing happens in rain, but i generally dont cook if its raining hard... i do have a patio umbrella over it in case im cooking & it does rain... its so hot though that small rain shouldnt bother.. when not in use, i have a makeshift shingled roof on it
