Been following your highly professional channel for a few months now and I am impressed with the supreme quality of your explanation how to DIY. In fact...because you made clear the city bug is an absolute beast, I purchased one just for the fun of it, A 107. It definitely out performs my Crossfire in performance and handling. I love the little shitter a lot. Thank you for having this channel. Greetings from the Netherlands

I did a moped exhaust with jubilee clips and baked beans tin. It sort of worked for a bit but in the end I just left it noisy it was actually faster.😄

The commentary and the video is epic. My back box decided not to stay attached to my middle pipe. So got a 80mm wide 52 mm diameter pipe. One side was 54mm the middle it was attaching to was 50mm. So have tightened one bracket up to as tight as I can, the other needed a couple of turns. I've gun gummed the shite of both joins inside and out. So I hope I've not been a complete dumbass and fixed it, even if it's temporary.

Just thought I'd point out an error. You shouldn't have pointed the exhaust tip down, with all the power that weapon is making, its going to lift up the back of the car with the force of the gasses coming out of it. I just hope thhis message reaches you in time🙏🙏
@StupidBlokeStupidVideos2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good point. The exhaust tip fell off, but the oversteer from a lightened rear end was fun whilst it lasted.
@AC-um2mk2 жыл бұрын
Nah, if you fit it with the tip pointing up you'll be forever doing wheelies when pulling away

I'm sure I managed to get a new exhaust back box for about £35 for mine xD. I can imagine in a few months you'll have a new hole near the mounting stud.

1k miles isn't too bad. Whats the legality of that repair in terms of MOT? Would it pass with one of those on the exhaust, and would it matter at what point along the exhaust you had it (ie is a section near the rear allowed, but towards the front not)? Also, AIYA!
@StupidBlokeStupidVideos2 жыл бұрын
As long as it’s secure and not badly leaking it should pass. MOT is not a very strict test, it’s just testing for the minimum standard.

Also Aiya 👋 🤣

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos Nice one, cheers for the info 😁
@micheals19922 жыл бұрын
Chances are they'd just do a leak test. Mot testers aren't allowed to remove anything from the car to inspect it so allot of people will just cover problems to pass the test. It's one reason brake pipes come up on the MOT as "corroded or covered in grease or other material" because allot of people cover them in grease so the MOT tester can't see the condition of the pipes. It's a legal thing on your advisories.
