I was trying to figure out what to make my friend for her birthday and your tutorial showed up at just the right time. I rushed home from work and made this bag. I like the way it came together, but it took me longer than an hour. My friend loves bright colors so I put together a bag with yellow, orange, red, green and I think this bag is right up her alley. Thank you Erica, I love the way the bag turned out.

Well I'll be..... I love it when I come across a little snippet to save in my Sewing Tricks playlist. Especially when only 20 minutes ago I couldn't remember how to use the Auto Thread on my newish Juki, while telling my daughter in-law there is nothing better than the sound of an old machine that sounds & sews like a finely tuned Range Rover. @erica_arndt6 жыл бұрын
I have this one: amzn.to/2KqOlqD I really like it for quilting as it has a large throat space and can handle thick materials without any hassle. I also have this one for other home sewing needs since it has more stitch options and I also used to quilt on it as well: amzn.to/2raprDv

спасибо за идею и МК!!! 5+ белая ткань будет очень быстро пачкаться, а отбеливать нельзя - полиняют цветные квадратики.

I haven't had any issues with it getting super dirty, but you can wash it just fine. I use color catchers to catch any bleeding from the colored fabrics and they always come out clean :)

Hi Erica I purchased some of your bag patterns. Can you please tell me what the finished size on Drawstring Squishy(1) bag and the Squishy Pocket bag will be. I appreciate the help.

they finish around 13X12 depending on how big you box the corners

@@erica_arndt thank you so much. As a beginner, albeit a elderly one, I want to use just 2 single pieces of fabric rather than tackle the piecing for my first time out.

If I wanted the patchwork section to be a single piece of fabric, what would the dimensions be? I want to make a matching set (this, the Squishy Bag, and a Triangle pouch) for my knitting.

I noticed that your not back tacking. I understand why not as your piecing it together but I’m not sure why your not doing it when your attaching it to the larger pieces of material?? I hope this makes sense??

Since all of the seams are caught in the cross seam when assembled it's not really necessary. But you can if you feel like you need to :)
