Making faces was the death of me, you helped me more than you know 🎉😊 thank you!!! I’d been putting off embroidering the face of an octopi it’s getting picked up today. I had redone 3 times and gave up. It’s ready now thanks to your video.

Thank you for this video! I made my first sleepy bunny lovey and I started to put her face on and panicked because I had no clue what I was doing and the pattern didn’t say how to! How happy I was when I searched KZbin and found the exact face I needed!

Thanks for the video! Does it matter that the knot you tie to secure the ends inside the head at the end isn't "tight" since there will be a big loop in the head? and its not secured right behind where you embroidered? I hope this makes sense!

Hi I have a few questions that I cannot find the answers to online. 1. Should you always embroider with embroidery floss? 2. How can I embroider easily that my kids aren't pulling the embroidered parts off? 3. Are there some basic embroidery stitches I should learn to incorporate into my crochet? If you took the time to read this and answer thank you very very much. I'm just trying to improve my crochet and embroidery skills

Hi! I like to embroider with embroidery floss or #4 medium weight black yarn (either a full strand, or a strand pulled apart into halves for a thinner stitch). Secure your embroidery with a knot and then if you like, use fabric glue to further secure the stitches. For your 3rd question, that totally depends on you! A lot of embroidery is optional; depends on what you're making and what look you like best. :)

@theresascrochetshop alot of my amigurumi projects include embroidery. Does this just take lots of practice? I didn't know about using embroidery floss or making weight 4 thinner. I'll do that snd see if it helps my projects.

Can you use normal yarn instead of embroidery floss to do the face details?
@theresascrochetshop2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can! If you prefer the thinner look of floss, you can pull your yarn strand in half and only use half of the original thickness to sew on the details.

Is there a way to do embroidery securely on a finished piece?
@jenreeves7684 Жыл бұрын
@@mackenzijackson2462 sure. Just make sure you knot it really well inside the project.

I’m sorry to hear that! Thank you for the feedback. Perhaps you could slow down the play back speed? And I’ll try to keep my videos slower so they’re easier to follow!
