Thanks so much, my trigger was broken and being shown how to deconstruct the gun meant I could get it working again. The most helpful video I found. Awesome!

Are those OX brands? I own like 10 different caulking guns at the moment. Maybe more. Ever since I learned about thrust ratios, you just need a variety of guns for different applications like at least 3.

Fantastic that you showed us this easy fix, but you just ruined my day. I won't be able to stop thinking why a simple turn of that bolt (which looks the same from every side) solves the problem. It shouldn't work, but it does! And why don't the manufacturers turn the bolt the right way before selling their stuff? I wouldn't buy their stuff again if it didn't work properly. Anyway, thanks, I now have 4 mastic guns in reserve (they all work now).

Hi, the trigger on my mastic gun sticks in the pulled position which is really frustrating and means i have to keep releasing the push bar and start pumping again which is just messy and i can't figure out why it's doing it. Have you had this problem and got a fix for it?
@dmgladden4 жыл бұрын
Hi Billy yes it's easy just strip it and wire wool and oil the shaft that should sort it for you
@billybass41894 жыл бұрын
@@dmgladden thanks mate i just rubbed the shaft down to get rid of pitting but it's actually the trigger spring sticking so I'm going to cut a bit of plastic away to give clearance, it's a powerfix branded one from lidl and the spring seems to run thru a plastic/rubber bush but it sticks under load.
