Best Apple Notes on iPad tutorial I've found, and I've been looking a lot - thank you! I'm a newbie iPad owner, and not being able to simply mark up text in Notes with the Pencil seems like a big hole in the app. I understand your workaround, but then one has little bits of text floating around. I hope they fix this.

I have used almost all paid apps and switched to Apple notes in 2022. For most use cases it’s perfect and getting better. There are also 3rd party apps for faster formatting

Hi Rob. That section of the video was showing an embedded video of a Notion database table. When using the Notes app on your Mac, you do have the option to change the color and font of text. (Select the text you want to change, Control-click the selection, choose Font ). If you have your Notes app synced across devices, then the formatting is visible on your other devices (i.e. iPad). Hope that helps 🙂

Hiya! Maybe go check your Settings > tap Notes, scroll down to "Lock Screen & Control Centre" > toggle ON "Access Notes from Lock Screen" > Select "Always Create New Note". Hope that sorts out your problem 😄
