My wife purchased a wall cabinet and wanted to use it to replace a picture on the wall. It had those hooks that typically come with pictures to anchor the product to the wall and we didn't want those showing. I could have lowered the hooks but the cabinet wouldn't be flush to the wall - so I decided to use French Cleats for the job. French cleats are strong and allow the product to sit flush to the wall so thought it would be a good fit for this application.
