Wow, I nvr even realized you could buy extra bins for the fridge door. Super helpful!

Right?! Like a game changer. I thought of it because a couple years ago, I thought of searching Amazon for the silverware rack for our dishwasher - and it was there! So I thought even more so now, you can find so much on Amazon.

This looks wonderful and so functional! Bet I would eat more veggies if I stored them this nicely. You have inspired me! Thanks, Cherie!

Ha ha - yes - it does make veggie eating more easy.

I may have to sub to your channel. I am loving your organizing approach. These are the best ideas I have seen. I am renting and the fridge here is the exact same one you have. I have been struggling how to arrange stuff in it. The compartments on the doors in this one won't stay in and they fall off all the time so I am not sure what is going on. Thanks for all the great ideas.

I've been passing those white mason jar lids at Walmart knowing I need to get them because the original lids became rusted. Anyway, I keep breaking them 😁 so I guess I'll wait until all the narrow-mouth ones break and then get more wide-mouth jars because I also prefer those. Then, I'll be sure to get the white plastic lids which are so much more practical for me as I don't do canning (in which the metal lids seem to be intended for). That's a great snack station! There is nothing like Philippine mangoes 😏
@SimplyCherie6 жыл бұрын
Yes, I switched to the plastic exactly for those reasons - I am not using them for canning and they rust. However, I do plan to start canning. Glad you know Philippine mangoes!

Simply Cherie Yes ma'am! I'm half-Filipina 😊

I need to try some Philippine mangoes. My boss just ordered some from her country of Pakistan and gave me 2 a couple of weeks ago. You chill them but, when you’re ready to eat them, you kind of massage them before opening them and they taste like a mango smoothie in the skin.

OMG great Idea to put fruit on the door! I am not happy with my frig organization right now. Fruit often gets overlooked in our frig. I also want to work on getting rid off more condiments and not buy them. or not as much. One of my door bins broke a long time ago and have not been able to find the correct replacement yet, so I only have 2 right now. I will have to do a search again on amazon. Yes yes to wide mouth jars!!

OMG I just looked it up, found it buy it is $45 hmmm
@SimplyCherie6 жыл бұрын
What?? $45? Have you tried the manufacturer directly? I know Kenmore sells parts on their website. One time I emailed OXO because the cover of one of my bins was not fitting properly. I used the Contact Us page. And they sent me the part for free. If you do an update video, lmk so I can watch.

Simply Cherie I found it for $28 on another site, better but still expensive.

When you make up the little containers of fruit do you wash the fruit first or do you wash it just before eating? I really like the idea of putting the grapes into snack sized containers and having them available in the refrigerator. My grapes always go bad so fast when I just keep them on the counter. I'm going to try that idea because all fruit, especially berries, are so expensive and I just hate having to throw them away.
@SimplyCherie6 жыл бұрын
Hi Kathy. Yes, the fruit in the little containers are washed, prepped and cut before putting them in there. I want them to literally be "Grab and Go".

Video is good with arrangement but one question 1)mostly middle class keep left over food in fridge like vegetables /boiled milk/curd/butter/

Yes, I keep those all in the fridge.

How did you cut the mats for the fridge it looks great
@SimplyCherie5 жыл бұрын
Hi! I put the glass shelves on the table. Then I put the paper on the glass shelf and made marks where to cut them. I tried to make them the exact size but others add an inch or so for the paper to fold under the glass. This is the sticky kind...like a big sticker.

the stack boxes over the bar at the door are likely to fall to ground.

I've always wondered if it's really a good idea to store so much stuff in the refrigerator door.
@privateprivate83665 жыл бұрын
Rico g it’s important to have things that are more shelf stable there but, I think she has things in stores in the door mostly because I think she lives in AZ, where it gets hot and she just doesn’t want things to melt. In terms of weight, her refrigerator can probably handle the weight but, something I recently learned that I need to do, too, is to raise the front end of the fridge by adjusting the front feet/wheels. So, if the door no longer naturally closes on its own because of weight, this would help with that.

Looks great! However, you should not keep dairy products stored on the door, as the door is the warmest part of the refrigerator. I keep flavored water on the door. Thank you for sharing✌💛☺
@SimplyCherie6 жыл бұрын
Hi Wanda. Do you mean the whipped cream? I did an experiment before with milk and dairy products. The butter and whipped cream have always been fine. However, with milk and creamers, I don't put them there anymore.
@privateprivate83665 жыл бұрын
Simply Cherie I think it also depends, for instance, how fast your dairy is consumed. For instance, if you have a large family, who consume a lot of dairy and, particularly, if you buy UHT milk, it may be gone long before it has a chance to turn.
