FYI for those who don't know: cutting and washing produce, _especially fruit,_ begins the deterioration process. This is not recommended for prime nutrients, flavor, texture, or longevity. I do, however, understand that folks with kids and limited time find this to be most convenient for them. Just be certain to consume within a few days. I purchase eggs that already come in clear containers (L.O'.L.s, Nellie's, Pete & Gerry's, etc.). My pro-tip for those who normally don't, yet want to have clear display without spending on those clear egg containers: Buy one dozen of those eggs when at a discounted/affordable price, remove the branded paper insert, and wash the container. Voila! You have a clear egg container forever, that you needn't spend more on. Your fridge looks beautiful and beautifully organized... Happy eating❣️

I love your suggestion to “use your fridge for a few months” before making a new organizing system. A few years ago, I made the mistake of spending $$$$$ on storage containers and bins for my pantry BEFORE realizing that the system I envisioned didn’t match my lifestyle. In other words, I wasted $500 on a pretty pantry that I couldn’t use. If only I had been given this advice way back then …

I recently came across this incredibly instructive video that's packed with a multitude of ingenious ideas for food storage. I must admit, I'm truly inspired and plan to implement several of these tips in my own kitchen. One particular gem that stood out to me was the tray divider in the fruit drawer - a game-changer! Now, I can neatly separate my apples from my tomatoes, keeping everything organized and easily accessible. I also appreciated the important reminder from a fellow viewer in the comments section regarding not cutting fruits and storing them for too long, as it can compromise their nutritional value. It's a valuable tip to keep in mind - if you're planning to consume your fruit within a couple of days, you're good to go. One point that resonated strongly with me was the mention of the wastefulness of bottled water. It's true; there are more sustainable and efficient ways to access clean drinking water. Instead of constantly buying plastic bottles, investing in a water filter is both environmentally responsible and cost-effective. There are options like faucet-mounted filters or specialized water filter jugs (like Brita) that you can fill up as needed. Overall, this video is a treasure trove of kitchen organization and food storage ideas, and I'm truly grateful for the insights shared. Thanks for spreading the knowledge!

I'm weirdly obsessed with the round condiment squeeze bottles. "Squeeze" is my favorite word. I love the squishy plasticity. My 4 reusable Oxo bottles separately have French's mustard, Heinz ketchup, Kraft sweet honey barbecue sauce and Great Value pancake syrup. I love to play with my 4 other empty Oxo bottles and 12 empty Tablecraft bottles. I like the bottle brands of Choice, Houseables and Pinnacle Mercantile. The round condiment squeeze bottles are used in the home kitchens, restaurants, school lunchrooms, food vendors, art studios and more places.

I cheep cream cheese and process cheese slices (when I use them) in the top butter drawer. That's also where I stick medication that needs to be refrigerated so I have a couple of dosage cups in there even though they don't need to be cold.

I like the plastic condiment containers as the round mayonnaise jars, large ketchup bottles, large French's mustard bottles and large Hidden Valley ranch dressing bottles. I like the "Blue Plate, Duke's & Hellmann's" kinds of mayonnaise jars.

Nice organization! In addition to butter, I store bricks of cream cheese in the butter saver compartment of my fridge door.

Same here! 🥰 One tip I got from other YT'ers is the DT soap dish for cheese and random condiment packets. Cream cheese would also fit in those if one doesn't have spare space in the butter compartment. 😎 I store extra butter in my freezer; usually keeping just 2 sticks in my fridge compartment, plus my spreadable (C.C. Plant Butter), as it is quite small and has a dropdown door. It's a good tip to ensure there's always extra 🧈 on hand, and it makes room for the spreadables or cream cheese. For such large compartments like in this beautiful fridge, one can store all of them + sour cream tubs! (For those similar to me who don't wish to squirt sour cream, preferring it to be more solid.)

I use my "butter shelf" for my fruit or veggies i cut and only use half so the other half is freah and cold and not going bad until use and i know i still got half cut avocado or tomato that i need to use before it got bad since its easily to see and not forgot which is eaten up by the next day or few hours. My butter container is to big to fit in there anyways it was empty until i find its other purpose

What size FIFO bottles did you use in this video for your condiments? It's a good idea. I'm thinking of 20oz bottles but i wonder if it would be too big.

Love your suggestions. I'm trying to figure out how to organize the new fridge in my house. But is smaller that yours only have 2 drawer that are dipper and doesnt have the shelve for butter. My challenge is were to put cheese and butter, cause we buy fresh cheese and the slices from the deli doesnt come in packages.

Very organized! Love all your videos. Hi from south India, you make organising quite interesting. Here, in India, we make our own spicy pickles, most of the time, so I store mine, in small glass jars, on the fridge door , makes it easy to reach. Of course course, my larger jars go behind ,in the front section.

THANK YOU for thinking exactly the way I do about the condiments. My wife is like "you're ridiculous" and I'm like "But they literally take up less space... and they are uniform in color... what's the downside?" lol

Hi, I really enjoyed your video. I particularly liked the organization of your containers. I am still in the process of organizing my fridge and looking for ideas. I noticed that you kept your milk in their original containers. I have done a lot of research on food preservation and it is suggested that you put your milk in (clear) glass bottles and store them on the lower shelf of your fridge to keep them the freshest. Just trying to return the favor and giving you some info. I got my bottles on Amazon, of course, LOL

Just found your channel and love your organizing tips! I have been considering getting the fifo condiment bottles but have read quite a few negative reviews so I am very interested to hear how you like them now that you e been trying for a while. Do they leak? Is the squirt stream good? Do you have trouble getting thicker sauces to squirt correctly? Please give us an update! Thanks so much!!

So far we still like them! We use them the most for sour cream (which is pretty thick) and have no issues with it (just make sure that both caps are screwed on completely and no air gets in). It's a game changer with tacos! We run them through the dishwasher once they empty out. With the sour cream it can be difficult to get the last of it out of the bottle because it sticks to the sides of the bottle. Ranch is another popular condiment in our household that we sly through! We have not had any leaky issues aside from a little that will come out if you slam the bottles down on the counter or in your fridge too hard. I keep a paper towel in the condiment shelf in the event I do that. We don't have any very liquid(y) condiments (like a balsamic dressing) and can't speak to how they would do. I would presume there would be no issues. Hope this helps!

@@TheOrganizationStation it really does, thank you so much!!! I did want to share a tip with you. White drawer dividers (like the ones you buy to separate utensils in a drawer) do great to divide fridge drawers as well. It’s a little cheaper than buying the divided trays you used in the drawers. Your organization is beautiful!
