We keep so many backgrounds, gel prints, and paper scraps! Why not turn them into something practical? I made DIY coasters with leftover Gelli Prints made with acrylic paint, stencils and my gelli plate. The PROBLEM with sealing these coasters, is that in all my research, I discovered the best product recommended - BUT...once I used it, they smell, seriously, they literally stink!
I refrained from using resin, cause it's expensive, and I didn't want to deal with all those pesky bubbles. SO, I ended up trying 4 different ways to seal these coasters, because the last thing you want is to ruin the art, right? Then what's the point! Here's what happened...
