I know the main image is supposed be on full white background. But in the category I may sell in, a huge number of sellers have their main image as lifestyle. Do you recommend still the all white background, or to compete with them go with a lifestyle image? And when split testing the main image, how long would you leave each picture up for?

Yes Shalin, when a listing is new and inactive, it won't be indexed yet. What you can do is try search a keyword on your listing and your listing's ASIN together in the search box

Actually you can have up to 9 images that are publicly viewable for your product, but the last 2 get partially hidden. Amazon will show the first 7 on the initial product page view, but to see all 9 you have to click to expand the image and you will see a new image menu appear that lists all 9. Why do they set it up like this? No clue!
