@raggsj389 ай бұрын
@@TheKneadyHomesteader I generally use wooden utensils, with some silicone thrown in. Those scratches in the bottom I could see in the beginning are from metal utensils. They're probably not true scratches but just marks from the metal - but it can scratch le Creuset (I have a collection of Le Creuset' it's my main cookware). I remember your red Aldi pots - they were gorgeous! Maybe they didn't show the metal marks as easily? I don't know.

I too cut up my beef that size when I’m making Chili. I don’t like using ground beef, but the chuck roast in it is so yummy. So back to sticking to my brands I like, I love Le Creuset, Allclad and kitchen. Your pot is super cute and pretty. I have all Allclad pots and pans, but all of my baking dishes, pie pans, a few cookie sheets are Le Creuset. I love yellow so I have the Nectar color, but I must say all the colors are gorgeous. I’ve been testing out other peoples recipes for Banh Mi ( Vietnamese for bread) and I’ve had more than a few misses on it. Their bread is lightly crisped on the outside and very pillowy on the inside. First fail was not having a baguette pan, so it didn’t rise and keep its shape. Is your pan an USA Pan? I’m not sure if I would want to purchase anything else from them because my cookie sheets are rusting under the lip around all the edges.
