Hey Friends, I love to take the early part of Thanksgiving week to make a couple of my family’s favorite chili recipes and test out some new party appetizers before all the Christmas events begin. It’s a festive start to the season and a win for us all - my family feels special and gets to taste test and enjoy the food and I get three nights of dinner made ahead before all the big prep on Wednesday night! So kick back, relax and enjoy these delicious chilis and new party foods with my family! I hope you will subscribe and come back every week for more.

White Chicken Chili
2 large cans chicken
2 cans chili beans (I use great northern beans)
1 can mild rotel
1 can corn
salt & pepper to taste
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
minced garlic
2 packages of McCormick White Chili Chicken seasoning
1 carton chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken
1 block cream cheese
Mix all ingredients in a large pot and cook over medium/high heat until warmed through and cream cheese is melted in. Serve with toppings of your choice!

Girl, this is exactly how I started making my chili right after we married! It was my Mothers recipe. We never ate beans in our chili but I do like beans. I really like Wendy’s chili and it has beans. Maybe I should try it in my recipe to see how I like it. It’s just me now bc my husband passed away three years ago. That man loved my chili recipe! A great app my aunt got me hooked on is taco dip...she makes taco meat with beef of chicken/turkey... A lb of taco meat on the bottom of the casserole. Mix a block of softened cream cheese and a half cup of sour cream... That's the next layer...then a layer of salsa whatever kind u like ..then cheese on top...bake it til it bubbly.. it's amazing. So simple yet so addictingly delish. My husband makes me make it for dinner and he'll just eat a whole bowl of it it's so yummy

Oh my goodness,everything looks so good and I love chili all year long! But a huge thanks for a timesaver for my Christmas pretzels that I make every year where you dip half or the whole pretzel in melted white chocolate and then shake on Christmas sprinkles. So time-consuming because I shake off the excess and then put it on a waxed sheet. I am now,thanks to you, going to lay the pretzels on the wax sheet and then drizzle on the melted white chocolate!
