Tip: for the pretzels and bagels, boil them in water with sodium bicarbonate, 1 minute for each side before cooking, in boiling water (no shit) it gives it a nice salty crust. For every cup of water, it’s 1/16 of a cup of bicarbonate.

For bagels, I think it's fine without baking soda, you can just let them boil in boiling water. For the pretzels, though, don't skip it, since that's what gives it it's pretzelly-like flavor!

Made this into soft pretzels and bread sticks. Just make sure to get the ratio right! and don't panic if the mixture starts to "pebble" early in the mixing - it'll eventually come together into a ball of dough. Good job, Tasty!

If you dont have the Greek yogurt you can always get 1 or 2 cups of water microwave it for 1 minute and 30 seconds wait for it to cool a bit (try to use it as hot as possible but dont burn yourself) and add it to the flour and mix them until it makes dough its just as easy. And for that it can also be self rising flour but you can also use all purpose flour

I'm trying to tell you guys that the "two ingredient" thing is bull. Self rising flour is just flour with a pre added rising agent, like baking powder or yeast. Greek yogurt hast water and salt in it. Flour, water, salt and yeast are all you need for a perfect pizza dough. Those are four ingredients, but everything is also included in these "two ingredients". That's my message.

I completely agree with you, Adam. For example, when I make pizza dough, I use bread flour, water, dry yeast and salt and I let the dough rest over night in the fridge. That makes a perfect dough for pizza.

I agree that baking soda and powder are not substitutes for yeast. I havent even tried the recipe and i already know it will be dense and not good at all. Personally i think this is a horrible recipe.

In replacement for Self Rising Flour, you could also mix 1/4 tsp baking SODA (since we are working with yogurt, it is best to use baking soda, but you could use baking powder) for every 1 cup of all purpose flour with salt (for flavor). This looks amazing! I'm wondering whether you experimented with more than just getting the qty's right. I.e. Does it keep in dough form or do you need to make then cook it immediately and in cooked form do you need to eat it straight away? Does it freeze well either raw or, &/or cooked. And, if you added some Sugar to this dough could you move into Sweet rather than Savoury items.? Lastly, you specify Greek Yoghurt and I guess that's imperative but is the fat content important? Will Total 0% Greek work the same as a Full Fat Greek Yog? Thank you.
