Just made this recipe. Can confirm best and easiest I've found. I added a pinch of salt, a pinch of lemon zest and little vanilla extract to the dough. 5 large eggs to 6 cups of flour. Makes at least 4 trays of cookies. So good.

Oh my gosh you made SO MANY! What stamina you must have! They look amazing. I made rainbow hamentashen on my channel this year but of course I need to make some regular ones tonight it won’t feel like Purim without them!

I tried a hamantaschen before. It was very delicious. The chocolate ones are my favorite. The cherry was delicious.

Thank you Rivka, you make my world rock with your food. I live in Argentina and I love your recipes. The challah, cinnamon buns and these hammentachen!!! Keep on doing these videos, do not give up. Is kidush and ahavas Hashem what you do. My only regret is not being in USA to get an invitation to your house.

I put orange zest in my dough. I like all sorts of flavors, but my favorite is poppy seed paste.

Look who I came across while searching for a Hamentashen recipe- Rivka Malka! Hi neighbor! I like your recipe because it does not use butter or margarine (which I rarely have on hand) and still looks delicious. Chag Sameach to you and your family!

Rivka, this is my first year making Hamentashen. My grandmother, who passed in 2017, always made it. Can we make it ahead of time and freeze them? If we can is there anything we need to know about freezing them and thawing them? Thank you!

Oh wow, That's os special in honor of your grandmother. The only thing to know is that if you put them in the freezer, they're even better frozen!

Hi Rivka, I just saw this video on the Hamenta Shen. I am excited to learn how to make it but how many degrees do I prep the oven for to bake then for the 6-12 minutes? Thank you so much. - avigrace.cg1@gmail.com

She's funny... "Chocolate a main food group for women". In my twenties- in 70s when a few of my best forever friends were dispersing across the globe one of them said, and call agreed, "should we lose her, moi, and do not see her for years we will know she is not a clone if she still loves Chocolate"

Horrible recipe! And...you never give the oven temp! 😕 I made your recipe and the dough was crumbling so bad. I couldn’t pinch the cookies bc it would just break. What a mess and frustration. Tried baking at 350 for 7min. Dough was not baked and jelly just poured everywhere. Had to bake an additional 5 min or more. I wish I had watched other videos on this, never having made them for PURIM.
@irineg62684 жыл бұрын
ni le you clearly did something wrong then. I used this recipe and it was amazing! Have a great Purim! ❤️
