Great tutorial! If the background colour was green, would you use green at the top of the droplet instead of grey? In other words, does the top shade match the hue of the background?

Yes, omit the grey and use green with black and then white for highlights

Wow ty so much & I loved how simple you keep it! This is my first time watching but I plan on watching more & would love to see your work! I’m disabled so I’m very limited with what I can do but I am able to do some things. I have such a strong desire to create things but my body keeps from my full potential! Would this technic work with aprussian blue background. And just use shades of pthalo blue black and white mixes. I made a pthalo blue mixed with Mars black for the background wich results in like a prussian blue color background

the regular drops are painted great, but the thing you painted third, let me tell you, it looks like a turkey's gut. it doesn't look like a drop at all.😅😅😅😅
