@@Babeliobaby1 I don’t have the pressure mounted baby gate. I have the one shown in this video. Does it not need wall cups? Also, is there a way to modify the gate such that it can only open in one direction?

I can’t help but think this would be better without the extra buttons that require one to lift up on the gate. If those were gone you could simply squeeze the handle and open the gate. This is probably not a big issue in general but when you have a smaller door frame like mine, 27 inches, it can be fairly difficult to operate with one hand.
