Just tried this recipe in addition to the canned tomatoes I had a packet of cherry tomatoes which I added and also some chopped potatoes. Quite delicious really enjoyed it and made enough for another 3 days.

I love the honestly about lentil soup. It's one of those recipes that isn't particularly exciting, but this quick, easy, cheap and nourishing! Meals like this got me through university and even when life got in the way and money (and time!) were tight! You have another subscriber 😁 My personal spin on it, exactly how you did it, but add a diced green pepper, a little cayenne and smoked garlic powder for a little extra zing.

I made this today and I have to admit, I am very impressed! It was pretty good. I did use an “animal” based stick instead of veggie broth. This pot will not last the entire day.

I am not trying to be mean or overly critical. But, I come from a cultural background that uses lentils as a main staple in its cuisine. I did not really appreciate your constant criticism about lentils. In fact, lentils are a nutritional powerhouse and they are delicious no matter how you cook them

@@luitgi I agree. He seemed to make a point of knocking lentils instead of just making them and presenting them. He didnt have to constantly repeat how bad they looked, or negative about them every 5 minutes. If he hates them that bad, why make a video? And that sassy is a bitch, dont listen to her.
