Figured that out the weird way in this video! The one farm I built was working fine with the leaf blocks above them (so a 1 block gap) but for some reason on these other 2 I built the 2 block radius came into play! Minecraft is weird!

Just finished building this design and although it was tough to get everything in as you did, it's working great! Thanks for the video! Anyone having issues with villagers getting stuck in the trap doors when waking up throughout the night? ended up just opening the doors where they stood up and it seems to have solved it, just wondering if there was a more elegant solution that keeps the look of the farm as pictured. your channel has grown quite well in the past few months! big congrats. I built this farm on a survival server and it works great in 1.15.2. This was an awesome tutorial and super easy to follow. I'd say I had the most trouble with getting villagers into the system as they're always so difficult, building was really clear to me. Kidnapped some villies from a village about 500 blocks away with my friend's help in flying machine, breeded a few and then tossed em in. I did notice that putting the leaf blocks at the end a bit higher helped with the breeding for sure. May be because the babies need enough height to jump up and down on the bed. Iron farm definitely is really great, running just as specified, and villager breeder works amazingly. Thanks so much for this, it works like a charm! Although I do have a bit of a question if anyone's able to help me out. I usually go afk on the server for hours at a time at an afk fisher so I can make the most of my afk-ing, and it's not in the same chunk. Does anyone know the max distance I can be from this farm and still have it working? From a certain distance, the iron golems aren't loaded in and I can't see them, so I am not sure if it's still working while I'm further away.

If they aren't loading, chances are you're too far. Move your afk fishing closer.

For Bedrock conversion, use 10-20 employed adult villagers with extra 'bait-beds' outside of the fields to lure babies. Take babies 100+ blocks away (in ANY direction) immediately. Also, skip the zombies.

This is a nice combo farm. What encourages the babies to walk over the center trap doors? Could you get into situations where they just don't happen to pathfind over the gap and you get extra adult villagers up top taking up the spare beds?

Their need to gossip is what gets them to cross over and try to get carrots from the other farmers on the other side. The kids love to gossip and move, I have never had an issue with them not switching over!

I found a fix for the villagers waking up in the wrong spot. You need to replace the crops at the head of the bed with a button for each of the farmer villager beds

​@@mihailostanojevic3173 I read other comments, they said to put slabs on top of adult villagers beds. Basically the farm is still working even if you give 2 blocks high of air on top of beds of adult villagers (I left it as it was for babies) and put slabs, but sometimes golems spawn in there and sometimes I need to get up and kill grown up kids that are stuck in there and prevent new ones to appear and jump down. I stopped caring about the fact that it doesn't work properly. I did other, easier iron farm on the server and then this one. And that one is hella efficient comparing to this (probably because this one is further because of height and because it's big and I couldn't place it near my home). I think it'd be easier to just break it all up and make more simple villager breeder without any combos in it. It'd be much more efficient. Although I already got 40 villagers from it for my trading hall with librarians and finally got all max enchantments!!! you can't believe how hard it was to get the last one - Impaling 5 - of all other enchants. I even asked other players to replace lecterns with me for all other librarians left (there are 38 enchants and I made 40 librarians) and it still was pretty long after that. And funny thing is that even with their help villager who I changed over and over got it. Good luck.

If you have a villager holding cell on the sides using 4 trap doors for a frame and a hopper below to a chest, u can make this into a crop farm too!

I think you could use a sticky piston to push a solid block over the extra 4 beds so they are no longer valid (causing the broken hearts mentioned in the vid), and tie the pistons to a switch.

Near beds u can also put glass, bcoz i saw an error tha villagers were not sleeping with farmland there, so u can replace them with glass so no golems spawn

I’m having troubles at first it was working but I waited an entire two nights and I still have no more iron I think the trap doors are actually trapping my villagers it could be be I missed placed them or it could be just something weird happening in my game. U either built the measurements wrong. But, judging from what i c from ur request, villagers r supposed to glitch out of their beds immediately when they try to sleep, zombie scares them. Baby villagers... ur trap is built wrong? idk abt that i need more info, maybe a scrnshot. And if iron golems r spawning that means the villagers r getting spooked. I need more info to help u sry.

Edited I don’t mean ‘glitching out’ because of zombies- this happens before I’ve even spawned zombies! I’ve had several people rebuild the entire thing for me & they had the same issues so maybe it’s a version thing (I’m in 1.14.4) but afaik, villagers weren’t changed in 1.15 anyways. I was having trouble getting the water to stay in the holes by the beds. Had to go underneath and place a trapdoor on the bottom of a block next to the hole and then a trapdoor off of that one to cover the hole...remove the other trapdoor afterwards.

They fall so you put them away, and then sort them up for the workstations that you want. It's a villager breeder after all, if you came here it's because you know the idea behind it.

Playing on 20w19(this may be why) and the iron portion of the farm seems to be working fine, but I didnt get one villager in a 8 hour afk session. One possible problem i noticed is that the villagers sleep in the beds placed after the first 8 when the zombie is introduced. I dont know enough about villager mechanics to know if this is a problem or not. Any suggestions?

i think you can remove the trapdoors, it shouldnt have too much effect on the farm. they are there to prevent the villagers from trampeling the farmland when they wake up but it should only be the land adjacent to their beds

@•_° Maybe @chapman could come up with a better solution- I switched the farmland adjacent to the bed with glass and flipped the trapdoors above those squares and left them open (so they are up against the branches blocks and not between the bed and glass blocks) and while there is less farmland they are able to get out of their beds and the farm is running again (without golems spawning in the villager box which is a real pain to fix)

Sorry if this has been answered in the video, but I tried taking some of my freshly bred villagers, moving them to a trading hall and getting them set up, only for them to keep trying to pathfind back to this farm, it was maybe 50-100 blocks away. Do you know how far away they have to be or what I need to do to get them to forget this village?

For sure it can! You will have to be careful of cat spawns tho they create a mob cap. Place as many transparent blocks as you can {glass, leaf blocks, bottom slabs, carpet ect. }
