I'm not a student of japanese but judging by the content of the conversations I think this is a really well produced "easy languages" series. It is always clear what the theme is in every clip, and the vocabularly of that theme seems to be repeated sufficiently, which is excellent for learners of japanese.

I learned this watching Sakura Card Captor 😂 and I was blown away by how considerate they are in their daily interactions. Everything must carry intention and appreciation for other people's feelings and your own.

Love this series. Having learned the kanji 派 on WaniKani, until I watched this video I had no idea that it can be used as a suffix to indicate "what camp are you in" (作る派?買う派?). Thank you!

Marketing and selling chocolate in Japan must have been a big advertising coup to get all those tens of millions of people to think they need all that chocolate. It is as though you can't have Valentine's Day without it, which you can of course, in the West where the holiday originated.

When she asked them if they buy the gifts or make them themselves, she said: "Tsukuru ha desu ka? Kau ha desu ka?". So I looked up the kanji for that "ha" and it comes up with the following translation: "clique, party group". So I wanna know is her question like some Japanese expression that I don't know of (like "Are you among those who make/buy the gifts?) or did I search for the wrong kanji to begin with?

Well, I looked it up and theres this sample sentence in my Dictionary app: 私はネコ派です。(meaning: I am a cat person). So I guess the 派 (ha) is a suffix to indicate to what group of people one belongs. Like in the case of this video, it was about whether she was a handmade-kind-of-person or a store-buying-kind-of-person. Please confirm with a native speaker before usage :D

probably too late but ha is the particle to emphasis the topic. But when there are two topics after each other this emphases the contrast between the to. something like do you like this OR this
