I am over here in America, and I discovered this dish from watching other Japanese cooking shows. I am in love with Okonomiyaki! I have made it just about every day! I put the cabbage in the microwave for a minute or two to soften them. I love your version of this! Have a great day!

Thank you very much for another delicious recipe and tutorial. I think Okonomyaki is well known here in Germany, but not the Hiroshima-Style. I often make Okonomyaki (today I did) and I will try to make it in Hiroshima-Style. Tell your nice Husband that japanese food became famous over the last years and lots of people know what Okonomyaki is. To be honest: I think one main reason are the Anime-series & films. For example: everyone loves the Naruto-Series and the famous Ramen soup. Japanese food is very delicious and most of the time healthier than german food. I hope I'll come to Japan one day to eat all the delicious things and then I'll bring you an extra big bottle Sriracha-Sauce 😉

Thank you very much for watching my video and your comment! Yes, I did tell him about that. We are so happy to hear that Japanese food are getting more famous. You already make okonomiyaki often! That's really nice 😆 Hope you will like the Hiroshima-style one too. Yea! Hope you can come to Japan in the near future and enjoy so many delicious foods here. And that's so sweet of you say bringing me Sriracha-Sauce hehe 😍

I have tried to make Hiroshima style okonomiyaki at home several times and they have all failed. Your method looks really practical and feasible in people that don't have a griddle or teppan at home, I am looking forward to trying out your method of making okonomiyaki in the future!

Okonomiyaki is not easy to find in American Japanese restaurants, but I had it at Japan Town in San Francisco and liked it a lot. This dish should be popularized more in the USA because it is so good. Now I can try making it at home. 🙂
