Almost every art I’ve ever done has a variation of this but not all have the emphasis on the arm break. Even Muay Thai.

You will see that a lot if you spend any amount of time in Martial Arts. The body only moves a certain way, and its inevitable that multiple arts come to the same conclusion. The difference is in who is teaching the technique and their experience using it.

Great technique,did you get it from Keysi ,and incorporated in to Jiu Jitsu?.

Myself and the other founders of TRITAC have trained extensively in both Keysi Fighting Method and Defence Lab. 2 of our founders have black belts in both. I am the Jiu-Jitsu / Grappling integration in TRITAC, and work on blending the combative striking and smashing of Keysi and DL into the combative side of Jiu-Jitsu

Great technique, I've seen it being applied from the "turtle guard" but never thought about using the same principle from the stand up position. Grappling set ups, techniques and adjustments are endless! We never master it, we just achieve a high level of proficiency and deep understanding of the human anatomy.

That's where I started using it! From Turtle! Then I just kept finding it during rolling too.

Will dis work on someone fat that Weights 201lbs??
@tritacacademy5 жыл бұрын
Of course... with training :) Just like MOST things you see in BJJ or MMA will work, but it needs the special formula for it to be applied. The situation has to be right, you will have to have trained the technique itself at LEAST 1000x and it will have to 'make sense' to you or feel instinctual. If those criteria are not met, then no this is NOT the technique you in this situation. You also have to look at ALL the techniques that we publish on this channel as IDEAS.... nothing more. This is what we do, this is how we train is, this is why we like it.
