“Intimidated with journaling” is exactly what i am feeling right now. When i heard you said tht, i was like hOw DiD yOu KnOw???? Anyway, i am planning to start journaling, but i am not good with arts. I feel intimidated when i saw a lot of people making a very aesthetic and amazing journal entries. After so long i decided to just go with it and start, regardless. I ordered alot of stuffs for journaling and i cant wait for them to arrive. Thank you so much for this video! I feel you and I was also intimidated with journaling. I really wanted to express myself in a more artistic way, in things and feelings that I couldn't put into words, but I didn't know how because I don't have any artistic ability. so I was stuck for a long time, but I found a very good way to journal. It’s just doing all the art in editing programs, Canva, some photoshop app, Pinterest edits and stuff like this, and when the artwork is done, just print it on paper (I now use spiral notebooks, so I take the sheets out and put them back in without a problem)

A way that I love to do hidden journaling is to open the envelope fully (unstick it and fold flaps out) then write on the inside of the envelope itself - it works great, then you can use a magnet or fastener to close it all back up again

• fanart • art studies • song lyrics • Spotify song id scan things (idk what they're called) • anime/manga (I'm a weeb I live in a family with weebs me and my dad watch sailor moon together sometimes) • m e m e s • video game art • playbill musical logos (like hamilton, beetlejuice, heathers, six, etc.) • favorite brands (for clothes, paint, hats, etc.) • drawing your work space (leave in the messy bits, it's what makes your space more unique ^^) • favorite bands (ex: flogging molly, bts, outlaw nation, dropkick murphys, etc.) • favorite color(s) • pride flags • state flags • country flags • instruments (like my guitar I like drawing guitars) • things from different aesthetics (weirdcore, webcore, light academia, dark academia, cottagecore, etc.) • s p a c e • ghosts • penguins everybody loves penguins • favorite shows/movies • books • favorite school subjects (mine being history, art, music, p.e., and RTI/study hour) • favorite author(s) and illustrator(s) (ex: mariko tamaki, dr seuss, koyoharu gotouge, etc.) • letters in any written/spoken/signed language (ex: sign language, wingdings, japanese, English, Spanish, pagen(I thing that's how you spell it), etc.) That's all I can think of at the moment but let me know if you've tried any of these! If you add clear packing tape to receipts they don't fade much. I have some from 10 years ago that are still as bright as the day I got them. Worth a try if the place is special.

this definitely helped. im running by a few craft stores with my momma tonight to get some stuff for scrapbooking, actually. i had just started to lose my motivation to do so despite feeling so excited and anxious to do it because my friends dont seem supportive of it, my parents think it's a little odd (in the way that i showed them which is basically just having fun with color schemes and making it pretty) and nobody seems excited about it.. but im still looking into it and im excited for it again so thank you :(

Love these easy journaling ideas and seeing your face on the video. One thing I like to do is put a piece of wrapping paper from each gift I get for any occasion. I also like to put a piece of the wrapping paper I use to wrap gifts for others. It's amazing how the styles change - even in wrapping paper!

Haven't watched your channel for a bit, for some reason it hasn't been coming up on my feed ...until today! Love the video, the inspiration and the great ideas, but most of all, I loved seeing you in front of the camera! I totally understand why people prefer to keep their face, family etc out of view, but having people like you, in front of the camera occasionally (who I've watched for a really long time) feels kind of like getting together with a good friend that I rarely see. Thank you so much for making this video, it's deeper than so many other ones that solely focus on the *aesthetics*. I really love your scrap booking journal. My brother has shared with me an article from Psychology Junkie on personality types and the effective ways to de-stress, and although I do painting at times, the suggestion of scrap booking was new and sounded relaxing. A true way to relax because when I paint, as I tend to focus on trying to perfect it. But for scrap booking, it's something special. Thank you so much for teaching heaps about this subject in this quality video!

Using receipts from your grocery store is a great idea. I got that idea from Kelly "Book & Paper Arts". Think what it's like for people who see that in 25 or 50 years. What we bought and what the prices were. So glad you use it too

❤❤ Just heard this term and looked up videos to see what is what ..this was the 2nd video I came across & is amazing and you explain reasons to do it too. With beautiful colorful great page ideas... So glad Iwatched a second video..the first one (I watched a different creator )literally showed 4 books every page looked the same .it was like she cut up the same box of cards and made 4 books it was odd and prob put together just to do a video.and was making no sense to me .... What a lovely surprise to see you! I really appreciated this inspiring video and reading other people’s comments for more ideas. I recently did a journal entry with swatches of some lace I ordered. I’ll have to start doing fabric swatches too! I love that idea. I also like doing pen tests of new pens. I haven’t done this in a while but I used to do lettering practice and doodle practice as well. I’m also studying a foreign language and I think it’d be good to include practice sentences in an entry.
