Oh that mouthy Gertrude!! I think she must be a teenager right now: Always has to have the last word!! So funny, even my Lady looked up because I was laughing so hard! You did a great job on the spine & the binding. Oh I think those papers at the front & back are called “end pages”! Pretty catchy name, right?! And I love your idea book! That’s really nice & full! I’ve got to make one for myself also! Thanks so much, Julie! For the entertainment & the instruction! Erica❤

I have never yet made a journal but i have in mind to make a recipe and memory journal for my daughter with recipes of mine, my mom's and both my Grandmas. I want to include pix of all the special china pieces that belonged to them as well so that she will know where they came from. I really enjoyed your video and am learning ways to proceed once i am ready. I have become your newest subscriber. Thanks ever so much. 🇨🇦 😊 ❤

Hey there pretty, l hope all is well with you and your family I’m still in the very beginning stages of trying to learn and navigate this beautiful craft of journalling. One of your videos popped up in my feed one day when I was searching for a completely different craft and I was immediately hooked and wanted to get going on things right away. I watched several hours of videos (mainly yours) day after day while I was waiting for my crafting supplies to arrive. I remember this watching this video very early on in, it really stuck with me knowing that the finished product would be easier but also would look like the book was originally made that way. I never knew how much fun and relaxing it is to take books apart, I truly believe that I’m obsessed! I’ve taken apart more than a dozen books now and it’s a total rush when I’m done and I’ve been able to keep both cover pages intact. I’ve started a dozen different journals now but I see a different video and decide that I want to use a different collection of paper so I’ve never gotten past the point of cutting all the paper and die cuts from the front and back covers so I have tons of file folders full of undone journals. I took apart a book from 1940 yesterday and was able to keep both cover pages intact. I’m currently in the process of using the orchids and cats from Stamperia and hope to keep on the same road so I can finally have a journal to enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing all your endless knowledge with us 😊 love and prayers always from the very small but great state of Delaware❤️🙏

Nice vintage cover. I love reusing old book covers for junk journals! That Amazon dot thingy that started talking in the background..? Those things, including the echo, Google home, etc... are scary because they spy on you! They also collect data on you. And some questions you ask them.. they will not answer you, or give you a straight answer! I also think they are a gateway to the Spirit world.. the 'not good' spirit world. I think any 'smart' electronic device is too smart to be in anybody's home, who wants privacy.
