Hi Emma! I’m excited to try this tutorial. I’m just wondering, if I have 9mm needles should I stick to Aran yarns only or maybe just use 2 different yarns instead of three?

Hi! I would say try out the normal 3 strands with the 9mm and see how you get on, hopefully its not too much of a difference and should work similarly! 💓

I’m confused. You kept knitting every row and therefore it should look like the garter stitch. But the hat looks like it was knitted in stockinette, which is knit a row, purl a row. Where is the decreasing making the hat smaller toward the top? Thank you. A bit confused.

How's it fitting? I have a huge head (58-59cm) and I want that the hats fitting loose so I guess I'll make like 69 cast ons? Also it's them same if you hold your working yarn in the left hand right? Edit: I did it. It looks so bad and weird on my head it looks bulky . I guess i knitted it sometime stronger and sometimes looser. And maybe my head is too big

As in if you only wanted to use 1 strand of yarn instead? Yep you could do that, the 1 strand of yarn would probs have to be super chunky/jumbo weight to match the 10mm needle though! 💓
