A great worthy project and well done by all of you! Each of your areas of editing was so educational too. Thank you for sharing and I hope Heart Support truly appreciates what you all have done for them.

In the meantime, try to connect with nature a little more, even if it's by just going to a nerby park and walk watching the wind hitting the trees and the birds singing. Also diet makes a huge impact in our mood, so eating more vegetables and less bread, pasta etc. Hope you feel better bro, we are here for you :)

I envision doing something like this at work in the very near future. Thank you, this is really cool, and easy enough for me to follow along and reproduce!

Around the 07:00 there was no need to try to clean up the PNG. Shifting to B&W, that fuzziness that was visible prior blends away and is not prominently noticeable anymore. Nice trick that had a bonus attached, not spending time correcting the crowd_mi graphic.

Casey, thanks for everything you do for the community- not only your own content, but ResolveCon and other projects like this. I made a donation though work to get an employer match, so add another $50 to your total!

The key thing in making this work was using the brightness and contrast to make the letters pop. The glow is good gravy.

You've been a huge inspiration to explore Fusion for my personal projects, thanks a lot Casey! 😘 I also wanted to ask if doing Fusion compositions in 60fps is an overkill? My PC struggles to playback whenever I try to use several videos at once, not even mentioning some more complicated effects or pEmiters... I thought I should make everything in 60 if my input footage is 60fps, but maybe I'm overthinking it? I'd love a video covering some most basic things new editors overthink and pros don't really think about. Maybe a walkthrough of a first video, with some camera footage, simple logo animation, a bit of HQ footage from the internet, some audio fairlight touchups and so on.

Hi Casey. I’m having a major issue with blur in davinci resolve. I just purchased the full version hoping it would fix it and it hasn’t. I can’t find any info online about my problem. The issue is that whenever I use a blur effect on a an animated png sequence it creates these white and colored dots along the edge that blink and move. The timeline preview only shows it when it’s paused. Once playing they go away, but every render method I’ve tried have these spots along the edge of the img seq. I use davinci resolve to edit my animations.

Things are always so snappy with Fusion. I had to go back a couple of times to understand that, to use the logo as a mask, he just connects it to the media in of the crowd

If Blackmagic can give us the option to open a clip and do an IN and OUT point as one would do in the edit page and just drop that section in his fusion comp and composite it would so awesome… I don’t know how to go around this… if there’s a method to do it please someone help me out… thank you 🙏🏻

Hi Casey Despite watching a dozen or more of your videos, I still cannot get a simple Fusion composition to work. MediaIn1 is a photo. Its Output connects to Merge1.Background. MediaIn2 is a clip. Its Output connects to MagicMask1.Input. MagicMask1.Output connects to the Merge1.Foreground Merge1.Output connects to MediaOut1.Input MediaIn2----------------->MagicMask1 | | | MediaIn1----------------->Merge1----------------->MediaOut1 Problems ======== 1) On the Edit page, the mask only works on the first frame of the Fusion clip. After that the Media1 photo is completely covered up for the length of the clip. 2) On the Edit page and on the Fusion page, there is no Sound even though the MediaIn1 clip has sound. Any ides? 🙂 Timothy
