@@KerstiPitre Hi, Sry but how many slots and how many braids on each slot(parting). That's tbh the most at important question, but no one is asking that?? Like starting from the down parting to the top, how many braids fit in. Parting 1 at the back: 4 braids Parting 2: 6 Parting 3: 8 ??? Etc ??

I like the idea of knotless box braids but the lack of volume and most of my scalp showing was an issue for me but they’re great protective style
This is exactly why I took them out half way thru on my very first try. I felt like too much scalp was showing and they were thin. But the second time around I braided a little closer to the root and added more braids. This third this, girl I added more hair and more braids, and it’s so much fuller.
@theonegreyjoy74035 жыл бұрын
Yup I agree! Like kersti said, start adding hair a closer to the root( for me, after I do one braid of my hair that’s when I start to add more.) and also make your parts smaller!! (For this tip, you don’t have to do this at the base of your head, just the top, for the sake of lightness)
@eamami10875 жыл бұрын
Bee 1993 I only like that effect on the top of my head, if the sides of my head and the back are showing it’s weird for me

@christinafreese1135 жыл бұрын
Well you could do a different method. Since your hair is thin you can try braiding your hair first then adding in the hair thru the loop with a crochet hook and braiding it
